| “ | I got to participate remotely in the voice recording for the anime. It was a new experience for me, but wow, it was so efficient for me as an author-I got to listen to the voice recording and draw my manga at the same time! Before, when i'd go to the recordings, I couldn't do my job while I was there. Of course it's important to pay attention to the recording, but the catchphrase for any weekly manga author is, "I'm busy," so it's also true that if I'm spending time not working, I get a little nervous.
By participating remotely, I can be there and work, so I'm really grateful for the opportunity. On top of that, I'm hearing that Shiki and Rebecca's voices in real time. It gives me more motivation to keep drawing. It was a new experience, and it was a productive one. To be honest, I wish I could go the studio and communicate with the sound crew and the voice actors in person, but I'm sure I'll get other opportunities for that, so I'll be patient till then. As for the recording itself, it was so incredible! Shiki and Rebecca, and Happy were great, of course, and the casting for Ziggy and Mother was awesome, too! It was exciting from start to finish! So I hope you all look forward to seeing the anime! Production of the video game is going smoothly, too. I do the checks for all the 3D models as they finish them, and they're such good quality, I just want to stare at them forever. I get really excited when I do the checks, because it's like, wow, this character is going to be moving around. Anyway, there is an extraordinary amount of 3D model checks to do. I don't know how many times I'd turn around and ask them, "What?" You're doing that character in 3D, too? (ha ha) I'm just so excited! |
