Sun Jewel arc[]
When Flappy returned to the Labor District from scouting in the Rich Sector, Paul is informed that Homura is on Sun Jewel and stated that he always knew she would end up coming here. He then asks the remains of Valkyrie on what they are going to do.[1]
Paul meets Rebecca, Happy and Pino in the Labor District after they were guided to meet him by Flappy in an unusual meditative position by squatting with his head standing on the ground, surprising Rebecca. Paul tells her to be quiet for he is in the middle of meditation which Rebecca corrects him with the proper meditation position she displayed. Suddenly, Paul spins toward Rebecca and quickly snatched her B-Cube in his hand, revealing his Ether Gear, Steal Hand and its capabilities. An annoyed Rebecca calls him a flat-out thief which Paul explains that it is the reason how he was convicted and sent to the Labor District.[2]
After Shiki Granbell and Homura Kōgetsu learned that their collars reset despite they filled up the quota requirement for defeating the Black Rock, Paul uses his Ether Gear to remove the collars for them.
After the trio is impressed by Rebecca, Paul tells them that she's one of Homura's friends and that she even beat Black Rock.[3]
