An Oedo Onion (オオエドタマネギ Ōedo Tamanegi) is a vegetable native to the planet Oedo.

Allyl sulfides are released from the Onion
An Oedo Onion is primarily green in color, becoming orange by the bulb apex and ends with blue spots. When the Oedo Onion is crushed, allyl sulfides are released which make anybody nearby begin to cry.[1]
Usage[]
As a last resort to make Homura Kōgetsu cry, Laguna brought out the Oedo Onion and crushed it in front of her face, which made her cry at last and be affected by his Ether Gear, Tears Lover.[2]
