Mosco Versa-0 (モスコ=ヴェルサー零 Mosuko Verusā-Rei?) is a machine and Sister Ivry's servant, who is tasked with all the chores on board of the Edens Zero.[3] He is also a former mercenary from the team Rogue Out. Mosco possesses an alternate personality named Cosmo (コスモ Kosumo?), who emerges when the button on his belly is pushed.[4]
Appearance[]
Mosco is a medium-sized, heavyset droid with two antennas at the top of his head, a large black egg-like object that looks like a hair bun, a triangle-shaped nose, and small facial features. When under the fake Sister's command, Mosco wore no shirt but a set of short sleeves, a thong-like set of pants with leggings, and was barefoot.[5] His most distinctive feature is a button on his navel with the words "Don't Push" written in capital letters above. After joining the Edens Zero crew, Mosco starts wearing a suit and tie.[6]
As Cosmo, he has a slimmer and older appearance with white hair and a thick mustache, wears a black three-piece suit with a continental tie.[7]
Personality[]
Mosco was programmed for service purposes and is shown to be extremely loyal to anyone he follows. After returning to Sister, Mosco shows a more gentle nature and is fiercely loyal to his mistress. He is deeply masochistic and submissive towards Sister, taking her insulting comments to him as compliments. Despite this, Mosco does show emotions such as excitement, happiness, and showing he has a crush on Couchpo and sadness when he cried profusely after learning about the death of Valkyrie, and witnessing Witch's death. Mosco also has a habit of saying "Moscoy" at times.
When transformed into Cosmo, Mosco's personality effectively flips, with him becoming vastly more serious, refined, and focused compared to his normal persona. He also exhibits a very domineering side, quickly tying up Sister not unlike what she did to him and Rebecca prior and subjecting her to similar BDSM torture, all while maintaining a completely serious facade. However, Cosmo does retains Mosco's verbal tic as his sole similarity to his normal persona.
Synopsis[]
History[]
At an unknown date, Mosco was appointed as the Edens Zero's caretaker and Sister Ivry's servant, whom Sister would regularly train in BDSM as her submissive. During one such session, Sister had a delirious fit and created a button on Mosco's belly that would "make everything its opposite" when pushed. As a result, Mosco's alter ego Cosmo came into being and completely subjugated Sister, who forbade anyone from pushing the button again.[8]
Sister took Mosco with her sometime after the Four Shining Stars disbanded. After Sister was kidnapped by an imposter during a mission to planet Guilst, Mosco was remodeled into the imposter's minion and joined her mercenary squad, Rogue Out.[3]
Guilst arc[]
When Rebecca woke up aboard Rogue Out's spaceship, Mosco was one of the three mercenaries, alongside Jinn and Ganoff, to announce themselves and take credit for kidnapping the 29 B-Cubers. Ganoff noted that Mosco kidnapped Couchpo and has a crush on her.
Upon arriving at Rogue Out HQ, Mosco was swiftly taken out by Million Bullets that was set up by Weisz earlier and crashed on the floor unconscious, riddled with bullets all over his body.

World No. 29[]
During Sister's interrogation of Maria Slime, Mosco was scared when the young woman apparently melted away on the floor only to reveal herself as a Space Slime that endears him of her true form's cuteness.
However when Seth Anderson and Diego Reyes took over the Edens Zero ship from within, Mosco was taken out by Maria Slime while Sister Ivry and her fellow Shining Stars were disabled.
World No. 30[]
Mosco and the others run through the halls searching for Labilia, but are soon encountered by Drakken's goons. He prepares to fight, where Rebecca and Weisz knock out the remaining members after Shiki takes most of them out. Afterward, they ask one of the goons on the location of the jail cells.[9] They later find Labilia in her cell, perfectly fine. His attention changes to the call of an old Sibir.[10]
When Mosco and the others arrive at Drakken Joe's life support room, Jinn appears in-between them. Mosco tries to convince his former fellow Rogue Out member, but Jinn, unconvinced, strikes him with a flurry of flying wind slashes, calling him a friend of Sister's imposter.
Angered, Mosco threatened to push the button on his belly only to immediately back out instead. An unamused Weisz tells everyone to forget about Mosco's antics which comically offends him.
Edens One arc[]
Red Cave arc[]
Arriving in Dragonfall the crew marvels at the sight of the Dragons that they must go through, Mosco notes how some of them like to smash space travellers.[11] While going through the path of destruction caused by the Edens One, they are chased by the surviving dragons. After finishing off the dragons, the Edens Zero activates their Ether boosters, successfully leaving the Sakura Cosmos. They suddenly hear a splashing sound, which Mosco shudders as he does not know what it is. Soon the ship is swallowed by water and enters the Poseidon Nero Sector of the Aoi Cosmos.[12]
After some of the Mother Ether from the temple turned Shiki's Aquatic Adaptation Lacrima into a compass to find other relics to lead them to Mother, Mosco and the others return to the ship and leave Red Cave.[13]
Foresta arc[]
At the meeting room of Edens Zero, Mosco finds Mother's Ether contained within Shiki's Aquatic Adaptation Lacrima fascinating upon looking at it. When the crew discussed a new title for Shiki to differentiate away from Demon King Ziggy, Mosco looks serious with his eyes closed for some reason with his arms folded while his wig flew off from his head by Satan Gravity.
Later on at the Edens Kitchen, Mosco serves Laguna Husert, Kleene, and Jinn another fresh batch of food on their table. Laguna asks about him which Kleene reveals that Mosco is her brother's best buddy much to Jinn's chagrin.
