Illega (イリーガ Irīga?) is a criminal who operates from Illega Tower on Guilst.

Appearance[]

Illega is a frog-like alien with an oversized torso and disproportionately thin arms and legs. He has webbed hands and a spotted pattern over most of his skin.[1]

Illega's outfit consists of a luxurious jacket and small top hat, with a large chain and key serving as a necklace.[1]

Personality[]

Illega has a complete lack of respect and empathy for other people, believing that people are only worth the amount of money they have. Due to his own incredible wealth, he views himself with great self-importance and believes that he can do whatever he desires. He is extremely perverted, kidnapping women from across the cosmos in order petrify them and making them into his own furniture. When he found Rebecca after she escaped, he decides to make her into a "toy" he can play with till she "breaks" showing no remorse whatsover.

Synopsis[]

Guilst arc[]

On Guilst, Illega fervently wishes to add more B-Cubers to his collection. A subordinate assures him that since they have enlisted the service of Sister's troops in Rogue Out that he will soon achieve his desires.[2]

After the B-Cubers were brought to Illega Tower by Rogue Out, Illega enthusiastially greeted them and explained his desire to turn cute girls into furniture that he simply select B-Cubers to be the subject of his next project. He gives them a demonstration by ordering that a naked super star from another planet be petrified and made into a chair against her will for him which shocks and disgusts the girls. When they beg for mercy, Illega refuses to spare them and snaps his fingers to start a bubble-foam device in the floor of their cell. The bubbles melt their clothes and clean them so that they would be suitable to be his furniture. His subordinate interrupts him and presents him with an invoice from Sister.[3]

Belial Gore arc[]

Noah Glenfield references Rebecca's battles against Illega as being an example of where Rebecca subconsciously changed her location in time as her life was threatened or lost.[4]

Powers and Abilities[]

Prehensile Tongue: Illega has a lengthy, frog-like tongue that he can use to grab people and has enough strength to pull Rebecca Bluegarden straight through an air duct.[5]

  • Paralytic Saliva: Illega's saliva is able to paralyse victims that he wraps his tongue around, causing their bodies to go numb after only a few moments of contact.[6]

Equipment[]

Petrification Ray (石化光線銃 Sekika Kōsenjū): Illega uses a gun capable of turning a person into solid stone. It is powered through an extracted portion of Drakken Joe's Ether Gear, Alchemist.[7]
