Ibaraki (イバラキ Ibaraki?) is a member of Oasis, a rebel army formed to oppose the tyrannical rule of Poseidon Nero.

Appearance[]

Ibaraki is an alien being with green skin, blue eyes, black hair, and pointy ears. His hair is styled in a long, neck pompadour and he has a tattoo on the right of his face. He wears a white shirt with an open yellow, sports jacket, pants, and shoes.[2][3]

Personality[]

Ibaraki is a hotblooded and aggressive being who holds contempt for Laguna, calling him a coward, and intends to kill the former Element 4 member and anyone associated with him per his boss' orders.[4] However, he is shocked when Shiki easily disarms him and his fellow rebels with gravity, and when Goodwin makes an appearance.[5]

Ibaraki frequently says "Iffen so" in his sentences.[2][6]

Synopsis[]

Sandra arc[]

When the Crew of Edens enter the Oasis base with Laguna Husert's help, Ibaraki recognizes Laguna by his voice and is surprised to see him return. He then points his weapon at Laguna, calling him a coward while his fellow rebels surrounded Shiki and his friends. Ibaraki remarks that the actor got some nerve showing his face on Sandra but is unamused when Shiki quickly assumes that he and his fellow rebels are his new friends. He states that if the young man is with Laguna, then the Crew of Edens are their enemies too. Ibaraki retorts to Laguna that his leader told him to shoot the actor on sight, intending to open fire. However, Ibaraki and the Oasis members are immediately disarmed of their weapons by Shiki using Satan Gravity. He is shocked to recognize Shiki's power to be the same as Shura's. Ibaraki is then surprised when Goodwin personally makes an appearance and introduces himself to the Crew of Edens.[7]

He is stunned when Goodwin enthusiastically asks Rebecca and Happy if they are from the Aoneko Channel. Ibaraki is surprised to learn that the Oasis rebel leader is Oa_NEKO who is always donating money to Rebecca's Financial Support Chat. He is upset that Goodwin is misappropriating the organization's funds to give handouts to the B-Cuber, calling out his leader for it. Even though Goodwin protests that he uses his own money and tells him to quit whining, Ibaraki points out that she is with Laguna.[8] Ibaraki fixes his pompadour as Homura states that he and his fellow rebels are strong as well.[9] He is annoyed at Shiki being overdramatic after watching the Aoi News broadcast about the consequences of Shura's public announcement across the Nero Empire.[10] When the Imperial soldiers charged into the Oasis' hideout, Ibaraki calls Zoy an idiot for panicking and leading them to their location.[11]

Leading the charge with his fellow rebels, Ibaraki shoots down an Imperial Army sergeant in the head and declares that on Sandra, they have Oasis on their side. Exchanging fire with their enemies, Ibaraki declares that they won't be going down easily.[12]
