—Fie, Chapter 74 |
Fie (ファイ Fai), better known as Fie of Fire (炎のファイ Honō no Fai) and the Flame Sniper (炎の狙撃手 Honō no Sunaipā), is a member of Drakken Joe's special forces, the Element 4.
Appearance[]
Fie is a young man of average height with orange eyes and spiky orange hair. He wears an eyepatch that covers his right eye, a pair of dark-colored fingerless gloves with designs on the top that resembles flames, and a tribal necklace.[1]
His only attire consists of knee-length, dark-colored baggy trousers with white flame prints, suspenders around his upper body in an "x" formation, and a pair of light-colored boots.[2]
Personality[]

Fie's sadistic nature
Fie is shown to be a sadistic individual who takes a great deal of pleasure in being able to shoot people down from a distance as well as being highly confidence in his sniping abilities, even going as far as to claim that he never misses his mark.[1]
Synopsis[]
History[]
At some point, he joined Drakken's organization and became part of the Element 4, as the Dark Alchemist needed Ether masters of each element to help maintain the balance of his Ether.[3]
Belial Gore arc[]
World No. 29[]
Fie is summoned by Drakken Joe, along with the rest of the Element 4, to capture Shiki and his team.[4]

Fie preparing his shot
After Laguna is defeated by Weisz, Fie shoots down the latter in the abdomen with his sniper rifle, critically wounding him.[5] He remarks that Laguna was pathetic while he is perched high in a building approximately seven kilometers from Shiki and his team.[2][6] He observes them through his sniper scope and claims that he'll kill them all, despite Drakken Joe's orders. He is surprised when he sees Pino has figured out his exact location.[6] He then prepares a Flame Bullet, but is surprised when Shiki stands defiantly in place.[7] He fires the bullet at Shiki and Fie stares in disbelief as it gets sent back to him.[8] It misses him and he aims down his scope for another shot, however a smokescreen obstructs his vision of Shiki and his team.[9] Fie observes with a sadistic smile, summoning his Ether Gear, and claims that he's really fired up.[10]

Fie kills Sibir
Fie later breaks into Sibir's Bar to collect Weisz. He tells him that Weisz' friends and medicine aren't coming, and tells Sibir that there's punishment for harboring fugitives. When Sibir begs Fie to spare Weisz, he tells him that he isn't killing anybody, unless they're a traitor. He then pulls out a pistol, aims it at Sibir and fires, killing him.[11]

Fie chopped off Weisz's arm
Later, he stands with Drakken Joe and the rest of the Element 4, and Jinn, as Drakken punishes them in the Execution Site. He sadistically laughs when Drakken callously destroys Weisz's medicine. Fie is commanded to cut Weisz's arm off, so he pulls out a cleaver and brings it down on Weisz arm, telling the crew to remember who they're up against.[12]
World No. 30[]

Fie shocked when Hermit breaks his sniper rifle
When the Crew of Edens launches an attack directly to the Belial Gore, Fie and his fellow Element 4 confront them. Fie attempts to shoot down the Aqua Wing from the sky with his sniper rifle upon noticing but Hermit interferes and disables his weapon in the process, upsetting him.[13]
After the Four Shining Stars are ready to fight them on a 4-vs-4 battle, Fie derisively thinks they can make a fool out of the Element 4.[14]
Facing Hermit as his opponent, Fie witnesses her hacking one of Belial Gore's drones with her Master Code to attack him, forcing him to dodge from its barrage.[15] After Fie dodges the attacks from Hermit's hacked drone, the Element 4 member activates his Flame Ammo around his body as he explains to his surprised enemy that machines are weak against heat and intends to burn her out of existence. Hermit dodges Fie's attack but loses control of the drone and camouflage device.[16] Picking up the drone from the ground, Fie takes control of it and attack Hermit in retaliation, forcing her to block them with her arms. He throws the drone at her head, injuring her and mocking her if she can feel pain before escaping through the vent in the form of a fireball.[17]
Entering the nearby building which is revealed to be his armory, Fie reverts back to his human form and brandishes a new sniper rifle from his secret weapon stash. Positioning himself near the open window of the building, he states that his real specialty in battle is sniping and intends to put a Flame Bullet on Hermit and make it explode inside her robotic body. Seeing Hermit is looking for him, Fie finds it cute but brags that nobody ever knows where the sniper is shooting from until it is too late. Locking into Hermit via his sniper's scope, Fie claims his hit rate is 100% with his Flame Ammo and pulls the trigger to shoot her down in the head.[18]

Fie defeated by Hermit
Fie is shocked when Hermit saw through his sniping and dodges it with Ballistic Simulator and Aerial Move before she uses Prison Matrix to trap him inside his own armory. The Flame Sniper demands to know what is going on and how did she find him, after seeing his own stash of weapons levitating and turn on him which Hermit reveals to be her doing. The Mind of Edens, via holographic avatar, explains to Fie that his body temperature is much higher than any normal human's and any modern android is equipped with heat sensors and thermal imaging can find him easily.[19]
After Hermit tells him that he has no hope of ever making it as a sniper, Fie angrily tries to curse her and receives a full barrage of Ether coated bullets from Hermit's Guns Harvest, defeated.[20]
Edens Zero Reunion arc[]
Powers and Abilities[]
Flame Ammo (フレイムアモ Fureimu Amo): Fie uses this Ether Gear to control and manipulate the element of fire by imbuing his own ammunition with said element.[21] He is also shown to be capable of covering his entire body in flames, allowing him to launch powerful blasts of fire at long range towards his opponent.[22]
- Flame Bullet (炎の弾丸 Honō no Dangan): Fie imbues a bullet in fire to increase its damage and even make it explode from within a target.[23]
Expert Marksmanship: Fie is shown to be able to hit his target from an incredible distance.[24]
Equipment[]
Sniper Rifle: Fie is shown to possess a sniper rifle that he used to shoot down Weisz Steiner, a member of the crew of Edens Zero, from a tall building in the far distance of the city of Belial Gore.[25] After losing his previous weapon to Hermit[26], Fie obtains a new sniper rifle from the armory.[23]
