—Eraser, Chapter 139 |
Eraser (イレイサー Ireisā?) whose real name is Hamrio (ハムリオ Hamurio?), is a member of the Interstellar Union Army and one of the Oración Seis Interstellar.[2] He is known as the White Flash (白い閃光 Shiroi Senkō?)[3] and the commander of the Commando Carrier Hot Eyes.[4]
Appearance[]
Eraser is a tall and muscular young man with short, messy black hair and eyes.[1] He wears a pale gray skintight spacesuit that has the black-colored flame mark on the left side of his body and the symbol of the Interstellar Union Army on the front collar of a device with two horns.[5] Additionally, he has a long, flowing cape attached on his back and a metallic boot on his right leg.[6] When using his Ether Gear, his hair turns into a lighter color.[6]
Personality[]
Eraser is a laidback man who playfully notes on Justice being too by-the-book[2] and knew that Justice would always take missions that involve the Armored Space Pirate.[7] He is somewhat immature for a man of his position, bragging to Justice about getting to Nero 66 before him and defying his orders to wait on standby until he and Jaguar get there, but he does take his job very seriously in spite of this. Eraser is also confident of his power, boasting that his enemies will be erased before his two Interstellar comrades even arrive and that he will erase everything that stands in his way.[8][9]
However, Eraser cares about his comrades, where he briefly mourns for the deaths of his men during his assault on Nero 66 and apologizes to them as he finished charging up the Ether necessary to use his Ether Gear.[6] He is willing to team up with Goodwin and fight together, stating that they share a common goal of protecting the Aoi Cosmos and it is the right thing to do.[10]
Synopsis[]
Red Cave arc[]
Eraser attends a Prayer Council via transmission where he musingly comments that Justice cannot help but to address Jaguar by his captain rank, being the direct subordinate of the latter. He then reveals that Elsie Crimson has entered the Aoi Cosmos where her fellow Oración Seis Galáctica member, Poseidon Nero, resides. Knowing that the mission is about Elsie, he bets that Justice will want the mission, which the serious soldier quickly confirms. Afterward, they pray and end their Prayer Council.[7]
Sandra arc[]
Nero 66 arc[]

Eraser leading his fleet with Hot Eyes.
After arriving in the Aoi Cosmos[11], Eraser leads his Hot Eyes fleet to Nero 66 where Shura is located and declares to the prince that it is time to say goodbye to this cosmos.[12] He is contacted by Justice and Jaguar, where the former reprimands him for going off on his own and not waiting for them, which Eraser casually states that it is their own fault for being so slow, when Justice tells him not to do anything until he says so, the black-haired Interstellar interjects that that's not how it works, reminding him that the Oración Seis Interstellar has no chain of command and each of them has the authority to make their own judgment calls. He corrects Justice that he is fighting Shura, not Nero, and remarks to himself that the Emperor is not the scariest member of the Oración Seis Galáctica that he knows. Eraser answers Jaguar's question that there are 3,200 Nero Empire ships on their frontline and they are about ten times the size of his fleet of 250 ships. He states to the captain that there is no way of knowing how many ships are hiding behind them or how many are waiting on the planet's surface. But Eraser reassures the two to not worry about it and proclaims that he will have erased them all before the two even arrive.[8]

Eraser wiping out the Kraken-class cruiser.
Leading his fleet with his Commando Carrier, Eraser tells his troops that they are going to break the enemy's defense fleet and land on the surface of Nero 66. He explains to them that their goal is to defeat Shura and destroy the All-Link System before starting the battle with the Imperial Army ships in space, opening fire. When his subordinates inform him that their ships are shot down or taking heavy damage and that there are too many of their opponents, Eraser reassures them with a confident smirk to not be afraid and that he will cut them a path.[13] However, after the Kraken-class cruiser destroyed 42 ships of his fleet, he grits his teeth and apologizes to his fallen comrades, commenting that his Ether is finally charged. Activating his Ether Gear, he declares that it is his turn. Standing on top of the Hot Eyes in the vacuum of space, Eraser powers up and swipes his hand at the Kraken, erasing it in a blinding flash of light, proclaiming that they're gone. He then wipes out every Imperial Army ship in his line of sight. After that, Eraser declares that he will erase everything that stands in his way, remarking that there is far too much dust on this canvas.[14]
As his remaining forces push forward to Nero 66 and continue engaging the Imperial Army, Eraser deactivates his Ether Gear and kneels down tired. He comments that dealing with this many enemy ships can be exhausting. He is informed by his subordinate that an unidentified civilian ship has entered the battle, which confuses him. When Eraser is provided a visual of said ship, he is surprised by its cat-themed appearance and questions it.[15] Returning to the bridge of the Hot Eyes, Eraser contacts Goodwin where he tells the Oasis leader that the Interstellar Union Army is aware of the All-Link System's capability of destroying the machines as well. He reassures Goodwin that he is not trying to get in the rebel army's way and they share a common goal of protecting the Aoi Cosmos, stating that it is the right thing to do. Eraser admits that he would rather not let a civilian organization like Oasis get involved in a battle of this scale but respects their convictions and passions. Smiling, Eraser offers Goodwin that they fight together, which the giant cat accepts and ends communications with him.[10]
When 10,000 Imperial Army ships appear in space nearby Nero 66 as reinforcements, an unnerved Eraser remarks that Shura is still hiding all that firepower up his sleeve. After Justice shows up in his starfighter and attacks the Imperials in high speed, Eraser reassures Goodwin that he is an ally coming to aid them and advises the giant cat to not shoot down the soldier. Although, he doubts that normal gunfire could hit Justice at that speed. Witnessing Justice effortlessly wipe out the Nero Empire forces with Grand Chariot, Eraser comments with relief that his fellow Interstellar is late to the party.[16] After Justice notices unidentified signatures in their friendlies' signals and asks Eraser about them, he informs him that they are the rebel army and asks his irritated teammate if he heard of them. Sighing, he changes the subject and remarks at the large numbers of the enemy ships in front of their forces. Eraser asks Justice when Jaguar is arriving, only to learn that the captain had another matter to attend to. Exasperated, he wonders if it is really more important than the fate of the Aoi Cosmos.[17]
When the Sea Serpent appears among the Nero Empire forces, Eraser nervously remarks that it is not good news.[18] After witnessing the Sea Serpent's massive beam attack that wiped out their troops, a furious Eraser agrees with Justice that they are going to stop the titanic warship as he commandeers the Hot Eyes towards it at full speed.[19] Attacking the Sea Serpent, Eraser tells Justice to give him a minute until he uses his Ether Gear again and comments that the corner is dirty. He notices Ibaraki and his remaining Oasis rebels charge at the Sea Serpent.[20]
After witnessing Dylan's sacrifice that immobilized the Sea Serpent, Eraser activates his recharged Ether Gear to erase the Nero Empire's most powerful weapon. He is surprised when he receives a broad-range open transmission from the Edens Zero.[21] When Hermit informs all combatants in space that the 20,000 Imperial Antimatter Bombs are about to destroy Nero 66 and its entire sector, Eraser orders the forces of the Interstellar Union Army to leave the front immediately. He tells an irate Justice that he doubts the android is lying.[22]
In the aftermath of the Aoi War, Eraser attends a Prayer Council, staying quiet until Holy teases him for it after Feather starts speaking. He reminds her that he just came back from the battle, noting all the lives that were wiped out, and tells her to cut him some slack. When Justice questions about Elsie not being a significant threat, Eraser explains what they have been telling him for so many times, that she just happens to be really powerful. He adds that she has caused almost no damage to their citizens and states that the other three Galáctica, Deadend Crow, Saintfire Nox, and God Acnoella, are a bigger problem. Afterward, they pray and end their Prayer Council.[23]
Lendard arc[]
After being informed by Feather, Eraser is surprised to learn that so many Galáctica are gathered in one place before he is on his way to Lendard with Feather and Cure.[24] Upon arrival with his fleet of Hot Eye ships, Eraser acknowledges Victory's announcement about Justice's orders to treat Elsie's space pirates and Edens Zero, who have joined forces with Holy, as their allies for now.[25]
Piloting the Hot Eyes to blast through the Dragons in his path, Eraser remarks on the sheer numbers of Dragons controlled by God Acnoella. He is shocked to learn from Cure that Saintfire Nox is here on Lendard as well.[26] Busy fighting the Dragons, Eraser tells Feather to set aside her complaints for later after she informed him about something wrong with her Eye of Venus. After suggesting her to ask Cure to help with her problem, he is surprised when Feather reveals to him that the Brain Dust is unmanned and their fellow Interstellar is nowhere to be found.[27]
Arriving in Lendard's airspace, Eraser quips to the fusion of Cure and Crow that erasing stuff is his job as he stands on top of the Hot Eyes above the rampaging Galáctica. Partially activating his Ether Gear, he remarks that he would not be able to erase Crow due to his huge size, but he takes out the spot regenerated by Cure, exposing the core once again.[28] After the demise of Cure and Crow, he contacts Hermit and reassures her that they are not here to fight the Edens Zero for now. He informs Holy that he and Feather just found out about their former Interstellar's true nature, explaining that her Eye of Venus allowed her to discover the Brain Dust was unmanned. Eraser tells the Edens Zero crew to not blame Feather and bluntly states that none of the Interstellar figured it out until now, calling themselves stupid. He also states that Cure had taken steps to prevent Feather from finding him until Holy exposed his position by destroying Cure's camouflage shield. Checking out the holographic screen, Eraser reminds everyone about God Acnoella's swarm of Dragons and they must work together to deal with them.[29]
Eraser prepares himself to fight the Dragons with a determined look[30], but is shocked to witness the sudden collapse of Dragons falling from the sky of Lendard.[31] Later on, he finds an unconscious Homura and brings her along as he and Feather enter the underground chamber and encounter Rebecca, Weisz, and Happy there. Carrying the Sword of Edens in his arms, the Interstellar tells the three that Homura helped them and returns her to them as a token of gratitude. While gently putting Homura down, he tells Weisz to cease his scowling, stating that there is no need to fight while noticing the place is filled with naked women in jars. After learning that the Chronophage is arriving, he remarks that there really is no time to fight each other and agrees with Hermit that they should all leave the planet. He notices Shiki and Pino appear before them, and senses his Ether to be that of the Demon King. Eraser tells Shiki to not bother with Elsie, who is currently talking with Justice, quipping that they should not be a third wheel. As Shiki and his friends are about to leave, Eraser asks what they were after and receives his answer to be adventure and finding Mother. Watching them leave via Wormhole, he corrects a surprised Feather that technically, Ziggy took the deceased Poseidon Nero's power from him before asking her if Shiki defeated his grandfather. Eraser smiles when Feather confirms the demise of Ziggy as a certainty.[32]
Edens Zero Reunion arc[]
Powers and Abilities[]
Eraser is a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar, a group of six warriors who exist to fight the Oración Seis Galáctica[7] and is in a class of his own even within the Cosmic Government.[33] He is able to destroy the Kraken-class cruiser and every warship of the Imperial Army in battle with ease, which impresses Shura.[14]
Erasing Ether Gear: Eraser possesses an unnamed Ether Gear where blue marks[1] appear around his left eye.[5] He needs to charge an unspecified amount of Ether for an unknown period of time before using this and when activated, his black hair turns into a lighter color. Befitting his name and his epithet of the "White Flash", his Ether Gear allows him to erase anything in his line of sight with a blinding flash of light, by waving his hand over his target.[14] However, using his Ether Gear on many targets exhausts him[15], and that he requires more Ether to erase targets of greater size or mass.[34]
Space Survivability: Through unknown means, Eraser is able to survive in the vacuum of space with no negative effects.[14][15]
