Desert Oasis is the 49th episode of the Edens Zero anime, and the 24th episode of the second season.
In order to stop Shura, the crew visits the Sand Planet, Sandra, to meet with some of Laguna's old friends who would be willing to help.

Ziggy plans to use the All-Link System
Rebecca and Happy come in after hearing the news as the others wonder how he is going to do this. Hermit states that she checked that there were no signs of large servers close to anywhere other than Foresta, meaning there is no proof of other robot uprisings on any of the other planets and that Ziggy was not involved. Hermit begins crying as she presumes that they made an excuse to massacre innocent bots. In the Edens One, Ziggy and the Dark Stars learn of Shura's plan, acting according to what Ziggy expected. He notes the prince only has one option if he wants to wipe out all the robots, the All-Link System. On Nero 66, Shura knows what Ziggy is after. Wondering if he will take the bait, which he thinks he will, thereby digging his own grave.
Sandra
On Sandra, the crew goes through the busy marketplace. They spot a Camelish, which Rebecca and Happy want to make a video riding it, but Laguna reminds them to follow him. 10 hours earlier, the crew discuss about Ziggy and Shura, which Shiki wants to stop the prince. Before they could go to Nero 1, Laguna informs them that the Nero Empire has a 60,000 defense fleet that could easily end them. Shiki is stubborn, but the others are reluctant to storm the Temple just by themselves. Laguna thinks for a bit and offers help from someone he knows who might be willing to help, but they need to visit him in person.
Goodwin, Oasis' leader
In an alleyway, Rebecca expresses that she thought there would be more panic, which Laguna answers that this planet is special. They find the place, where Laguna uses a passphrase to get in. They enter, Laguna recognizes Ibaraki, who is surprised that he came back. He aims his rifle at him, calling him a coward. The lights turn on, revealing more peaople with firearms aiming at the crew. Laguna asks to talk to the boss, but Ibaraki shouts that the boss told him to shoot Laguna on sight. Before anyone could fire, Shiki uses his Satan Gravity to force everyone's weapons down. The crowd is amazed by his Ether Gear, with this Laguna asks to see the boss again. Rebecca wonders what is this place, which a voice explains they are an organization formed to free the Aoi Cosmos from Nero's tyranny. The floor opens to reveal the boss, calling their group Oasis, a rebel army. Interested in the powers of Shiki, he introduces himself as Goodwin, and states that he is the man who will take down Nero.
Goodwin meeting Rebecca
The crew faces Goodwin, who leans closer to them and recognizes Rebecca and blushes in excitement from meeting his favorite B-Cuber. Everyone is left speechless from this and Rebecca realizes he must be Oa_NEKO who donates in her financial support chat. Ibaraki scolds Goodwin for misappropriating funds, who corrects him that he is using his personal money, and reminds him about Laguna. Goodwin glares at the man, who says they have a chance to defeat Shura but that they need their help. Rebecca asks him to hear them out, which he happily agrees, but notes that they will deal with Laguna later. Homura tells Shiki to not lower his guard since she can sense the tremendous Ether from Goodwin and how strong the others are. This does not stop him from considering them as friends, because they are powerful allies. In the Edens Zero, the others are monitoring Shiki's group.
Shiki fighting the Imperial soldiers
Soon, the news reports that because of the Shura's announcement a few days ago, a dramatic spike increase of androids attempting to leave the Aoi Cosmos, the public's opinion on this controversial plan, and what would happen if the androids disappear. Shiki cries from this news, promising to not let this happen. Weisz wonders if it is even possible for Shura to kill all the bots in the cosmos so easily. Goodwin explains that it is with the use of the All-Link System, a network created when Ether and electricity combine when the high tide happens every few years. The next Aoi Hight Tide happens in three days, if they do not stop Shura then, all androids will be wiped out. Laguna asks for his help, adding that Shiki can use gravity like Shura, but Goodwin does not want help from an outsider. Suddenly, Zoy comes running in warning that there are imperial soldiers are in the marketplace. Before he gets shot in the arm as a group of soldiers followed him. Goodwin orders everyone to get their weapons, but Shiki's group manages to stop the soldiers here. Shiki tells them they can talk later and they need to save the marketplace. Goodwin recalls what Laguna said about Shiki and is impressed by the boy.
Shiki enters the battle
In the marketplace, the imperial army has all the robots lined up, preparing to kill them and make the clean up easier. The bots protest, but the seargent asks why they are unconcerned while every other planet the bots are panicking. He is soon shot in the head as the rebel army Oasis arrives. A crossfire begins between the teo factions, when Shiki crashes down and starts fighting the soldiers.
While fighting, Rebecca sees an imperial armored car speeding through, where Weisz 442 creates a road block. As the car fly up, Rebecca sees a kid driving it and jumps in to rescue him before the car crashes and explodes. However, the kid punches her in the face and runs off. Homura slices a number of soldiers while Pino saves the bot she met earlier, having updated her EMP to not affect her allies. Goodwin comes riding on a Camelish and swings his sword against the imperial soldiers, announcing that Sandra chooses freedom. Shiki is in awe of Goodwin, which Laguna tells him that everyone on the planet has had their freedom taken from them by the Nero Empire, while washing away more imperial soldiers. Shiki asks if that includes him, but the man remains silent.
Nero assures his victory
At Nero 1, Nero asks why Fabiano did not go with Shura to Nero 66. The man can only ask why the emperor will not step in to stop his son's foolish tactics that could end with the Empire's fall. Nero answers that he obtained everything by following his dice, stating that it does not matter if the empire falls or if billions will die, the ultimate result will be the same; that he will be victorious. He states that fate has already been determined, and will remain unchanged so long as he possesses the absolute power of the Empire Dice.

Manga & Anime Differences[]
- In the scene where the kid runs off after punching Rebecca, Rebecca can be seen wearing sandals when she should have been barefoot. This inconsistency is not present in the manga.
- Goodwin blushing in excitement over meeting Rebecca is altered in the anime:
- When Goodwin grins just before being blushed in excitement, the anime shows only his mouth while the manga shows his whole face.
- The anime also shows Rebecca's B-Cube video of the latter doing the spicy soups test while it was only mentioned in the manga.
