The Battle of Foresta is the 42th episode of the Edens Zero anime, and the 17th episode of the second season.
Shiki manages to break free from the glue and faces against Mora, until his companions arrive. Meanwhile, the Edens Zero defends themselves from the attack drones.
Summary[]
Kleene having a check up with Sister
On the Edens Zero, Kleene has a check up with Sister, telling her that she does not have to fix her, since she likes the people here. Sister is reminded of what Jinn told her about Kleene's condition and not to ask her what happend in the past, as if she does then the device will not be able to contain her feelings. The ship gets an emergency signal, where attack drones are approaching them. In order to defend the ship, Jinn, Laguna, and Kleene offer to help. With over 116 drones approaching, the hangar is unlocked to let the three board a starfighter.
Miimi being blasted by Mora
Elsewhere, Shiki's group manages to run away from the bots, where they find a small bot approaching them, asking for help. They tell them that there a lot of robots who are still fine, but many of them are getting killed by other people who came from offworld. The bot explains that Emperor Nero's forces said they would wipe out all the machines on the planet, but exclaims that the bots are not doing so because they want to and that some bots are still themselves. Shiki tells them they will be okay, which the bot thanks him. All of sudden, the bot is struck with a blast. Mora cheers for his bull's eye and asks Shiki's group to give him a "thank you". Shiki charges to attack him, but Mora fires adhesive at all of them. With everyone, he asks again for them to say "thank you".
Shiki vs Mora
Shiki and the others are trapped in glue, where Mora notices Pino. Remembering his mission he prepares to kill her to his delight and much to Shiki's protests. Rebecca has Happy blasts Mora, who dodges his attack. Without Rebecca, Happy cannot aim and is soon shot by Mora with glue, getting stuck to a tree. Mora is fascinated at a talking weapon, and remarks that he will have to destroy him later. Shiki manages to uproot the tree he is stuck to, much to everyone's shock, and swings it at Mora, making him fly. However, the man uses his glue powers to hold onto the nearby trees and catapult himself to attack Shiki, breaking the tree in the process. Shiki lands on a branch after managing to get all of the adhesive off, surprising Mora that he has sticking powers as well. The others realize that he has an Ether Gear as well.
Shiki unable to punch Mora
Shiki charges at the man, asking him what makes him think he can just kill bots like this. Mora responds that it is just his mission, making Shiki tell him that androids have hearts too, but is surprised that his fist goes through his face. Mora retorts back at what he said and calls him ridiculous, saying that the only good thing bots are for is being smashed and are lower than humans. Britney scolds him, reminding him that Orc is an O-Tech, but their companion states that it does not bother him. Orc senses Shiki's Ether, which Britney states its identification code: Demon King. Orc remarks that it is the same as Shura's. Meanwhile, Jinn and the others are fighting the drones surrounding the ship. Sister Ivry and Witch remind them to not let the enemies near the ship. Sister tries to get Hermit's attention, but the Mind of Edens is preoccuppied, realizing that the Shining Stars could get corrupted too if they do not stop this.
Orc throws the head to Mora and Shiki
Now faced with more opponents, the others try to break free from the glue. Pino tries to get Happy out, unable to affect the glue with her EMP because it is not electronic. Weisz suggests that Shiki could his gravity to free them. Before he gets the chance to do so, Orc throws the giant robot head at Shiki, who catches it and tosses it into the sky. Shiki then uses his Ether Gear to create a gravity field, freeing everyone but tearing their clothes in the process. Suddenly, drones have detected them and started dropping bombs from the sky. Everyone starts running as the bombs hit the ground.

Orc jumps to one of the drones, stealing some of its parts to use for his Blast Man Arm and destroys a number of drones. Shiki and the others get separated from the ensuing chaos and are unable to contact one another. Weisz manages to get a hold of Hermit, who tells him to come back to the ship to help stop the mania affecting the planet before it gets to the Shining Stars. Meanwhile, Homura tries to get to somewhere without fire, only to be found by Mora. Rebecca prepares to search for the others but is immediately confronted by Britney. Shiki roams through the forest when a drone crashes infront of him and is greeted by Orc.
Shiki vs Orc
Facing one another, Orc throws the drone at Shiki, who dodges it. The O-Tech charges to punch the boy, but is countered with another punch, noting how heavy it was. Orc then converts his Blast Man Arm to a gatling gun and fires a barrage of Ether bullets. Shiki dodges them and gets closer to Orc, kicking him in the face. The O-Tech asks where did he get his powers, which Shiki answers from his grandfather, Ziggy. He states that he still cannot believe that his grandfather turned crazy and thinks there is a reason behind it. Orc defends himself from the boy's punch and counters, saying that Ziggy caused all of this on Foresta. He then states that they are going to kill all the androids of the planet to protect the humans, and then kill all the robots decreed by Poseidon Nero. Orc realizes he never mentioned it, that they are Nero's commando team, Beast, on a mission to purge the planet and anyone who stands in their way.
