The Crew of Edens is the unnamed crew of the warship Edens Zero and is lead by the Demon King, Shiki Granbell. Their main goal is to find Mother.

Founders

The founding members are Shiki Granbell, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy.

History

After Shiki received his Adventurer's card and became a member of the guild Shooting Starlight, he gives Rebecca and Happy the idea of finding Mother outside of the Sakura Cosmos in order to get more videos for their B-Cube channel, the Aoneko Channel.

The group travel to the planet Norma to acquire a more spaceworthy ship from Professor Weisz Steiner, Rebecca and Happy's benefactor, unaware that the Chronophage has eaten fifty years of Norma's time. As a result, they encounter a younger version of the professor, as well as E.M. Pino, an android from the present era. Shiki and his friends rescue Pino from Sibir's Gang—whom Weisz was formerly affiliated with—to stop them from using her EMP abilities for monetary gain and interfering with the timeline, unaware of the true nature of their "time slip".

• Shiki Granbell: The new Demon King and adopted grandson of Ziggy, the previous Demon King. As the new owner of Edens Zero, Shiki has full command over the entire battleship as its captain. According to Witch, Shiki inherited his late grandfather's title due to his possession of the former's Ether Gear Satan Gravity. When Witch explains to Shiki that "Demon King" is a title for the "King of Magimech", Shiki likens the idea of being called the Magimech King. Three years later, he is recognized as one of the Oración Seis Galáctica by the Interstellar Union Army who see him as a threat to the universe.
• Rebecca Bluegarden: An E-class Adventurer and a B-Cuber from Planet Blue Garden. She is Shiki's friend and becomes a member of the crew, having shared ownership with the latter. During her battle against Nino on Sun Jewel, she manifests her Ether Gear, Cat Leaper. With help from Witch and Sister Ivry, she is told by the latter that she has the potential to become the Chrono Witch.
• Happy: A cat from Blue Garden and Rebecca's B-Cube partner. Along with Rebecca, he becomes a member of the Edens Zero crew and shares ownership.
• Weisz Steiner: The younger version of Professor Weisz Steiner and former thief from the Planet Norma in the year X442. Due to the Chronophage eating fifty years of the planet's time, he exists with the present time's Weisz without problems. With his Ether Gear Machina Maker, he can reconfigure and modify machines as well as fix machines such as Happy or Pino. Originally left after arriving on Blue Garden, he re-joins them on their mission to Planet Guilst in order to rescue Rebecca. Afterward, he accepted Shiki's friendship and became an official member of the crew. During the events on Sun Jewel, he wields a battle suit created with the help of Hermit and dons the superhero alias, Arsenal, which helps him draws out the power of his Ether Gear. He calls himself the Flame of Edens for his usage of heavy artillery.
• E.M. Pino: An anti-machine android that was created by Ziggy, the former Demon King. After his death, she was found on Norma in X442 and rescued by Shiki and co. She later joins the Edens Zero crew after becoming Shiki's friend, making him her master.
• Witch Regret: A member of the Demon King's Four Shining Stars with the ability to maintain the entire ship, giving her the title of Shield of Edens. She uses an ability which enables her to manipulate her Ether into various elements similar to that of magic. She died when she sacrificed herself to ensure Edens Zero’s escape from the Nero 66's explosion. After the crew travelled to Universe 0, Witch joins the crew once more after Shiki is given the Edens Zero. During the war with the Edens One, she was revealed to have bear resemblance of Regret, Shiki's biological mother.
• Homura Kōgetsu: A swordswoman and self-described knight from Planet Oedo who accompanied the group in rescuing Rebecca from Planet Guilst. As the student of Valkyrie of the Four Shining Stars, she is a swordswoman who inherited her master's Ether Gear known as Soul Blade which allows her to shape, create, and wield energy swords during combat. She joins the crew with the intent of finding her master while retaining her desire to challenge the new Demon King, Shiki. After finding out about her master's death on Sun Jewel, she inherits her master's role as the next Sword of Edens, while having the alias of "Valkyrie" in her honor.
• Sister Ivry: The second member of the Demon King's Four Shining Stars with the ability to heal both machines as well as living beings. She holds the title of Life of Edens.
• Mosco Versa-0: A servant of Sister Ivry who performs chores and odd jobs on Edens Zero.
• Hermit Mio: The third member of the Demon King's Four Shining Stars with the ability of professional programming. She holds the title of Mind of Edens.
• Valkyrie Yuna: A member of the Demon King's Four Shining Stars and Homura's mentor. She holds the title of Sword of Edens. She was killed in action on Sun Jewel. In Universe 0, she was instead executed in Oedo but later revealed to be repaired by Creed. She later joins the crew once more.
• Kris Rutherford: Also known as Jinn, he is an O-Tech and former mercenary who temporarily joined the crew so that he could have Sister Ivry heal his sister Kleene. After his sister is healed, the two decide to officially join the crew. He uses his Wind Rage in conjunction with his Skymech Ninjutsu techniques. Alongside his Sister, the two proclaim themselves as the Wind of Edens.
• Kleene Rutherford: Jinn’s younger sister and a former member of Drakken Joe's Element 4, temporarily joined the crew alongside her brother. After being healed, she decides to officially join the crew with her brother. Similar to her brother, she uses the Wind Snatch Ether Gear to steal objects using the element of wind. Alongside her brother, the two proclaim themselves as the Wind of Edens.
• Laguna Husert: a former actor and a former member of Drakken Joe’s Element 4. He agreed to help the crew and temporarily joined it to escape the Sakura Cosmos, where he is a wanted man. Thanks to the Edens being the cause of the defeat of the Nero Empire, Laguna decides to join the crew in full. His Ether Gear Tears Lover allows him to control and manipulate water, turn people who cry into water, and is powerful enough to cut through metal.
• Couchpo: a B-Cuber who runs the food-centric Mogumogu Chanel, whose content revolves around eating. She boarded the Edens Zero due to the Robots taking over Foresta. After the crisis is over, she decides to stay with the crew because of the ship’s high-tech kitchen and helps out Rebecca in her video editing.

Guest

• Holy: An outspoken member of the Oración Seis Interstellar and commander of the Interstellar Union Army who possesses an Ether Gear that allows her to melt people into puddles. As part of a deal with Shiki to join forces to stop Ziggy and Deadend Crow on Lendard, Holy stays with the crew until the battle on Lendard is over.
• Labilia Christy: An adventurer and B-Cuber from the Shooting Starlight. She temporarily stays with the crew in order for Sister to heal her illness.
• Saintfire Nox: She is known as the "Archbishop" as the leader of a religious organization, a member of the Oración Seis Galáctica and also the mother of Rebecca Bluegarden. She was brought in by the Edens Crew in order for Sister to heal her.

Former

• Ziggy: The previous Demon King from the planet Granbell and former owner of this ship. He gave the ship to Elsie Crimson so she could give it to Shiki one day before he was about to shut down. He later reawakened by a dark, evil ether and uses the Zero's successor, the Edens One, to conquer humankind, becoming the crew's sworn enemy.
• Elsie Crimson: A space pirate and member of the Oración Seis Galáctica. She was picked up by Ziggy and the Four Shining Stars as a child and was entrusted with the Edens Zero upon Ziggy’s return to Granbell. She gave the ship to Shiki 15 years later.
• Xenolith: The original founder of the Ether Gear, Satan Gravity, and Ziggy’s former mentor. Temporarily joined the crew for a few days to train Shiki and the others. He chooses to remain on Foresta to look after Aruna.
• Aruna: A little girl who lives on Foresta with her late machine friend Miimi, she was rescued by the crew and brought onboard the Edens Zero. She stayed with them for a few days before returning to Foresta, now under the care of Xenolith.
• Connor: The father of Rebecca Bluegarden and captain of the Edens One. In Universe 1 he joined the crew, being a guest due to having lost his own ship and crew. In Universe 2, the Edens One was never destroyed, thus never meeting the crew before Sun Jewel. In Universe 3, he is once again found by the crew floating in space. He joins them after witnessing them fight to protect each other. In Universe 0, he was never part of the crew, but is currently living with Rachel in Miltz.

Missions

Duel with the Space Pirates

Shiki challenges the space pirate Elsie Crimson for ownership of the Skull Fairy.

• Status: Success.
  • Weisz Steiner unofficially joins the crew.
  • E.M. Pino officially joins the crew.

Guilst Rescue Mission

When Rebecca is kidnapped by mercenaries of Rogue Out, Shiki takes the Edens Zero to the planet Guilst in order to rescue her.

• Status: Success
  • Weisz Steiner and Sister Ivry rejoin the crew.
  • Homura Kōgetsu and Mosco officially join the crew.

Diving into Digitalis

When Hermit is found with her heart and mind damaged, the crew dive into the virtual planet Digitalis, where she has mentally secluded herself, to bring her back to the Edens Zero.

  • Hermit officially rejoins the crew.

Search for Valkyrie

With only one Shining Star left to find, the crew begins their search for Valkyrie Yuna, the Sword of Edens, to bring her back to the Edens Zero and restore it to its full power.

  • The location of Valkyrie was revealed to be Sun Jewel, the planet of gemstones.
  • Valkyrie was found dead on Sun Jewel.
  • In Universe 0, they managed to find Valkyrie alive and was able to bring the Four Shining Star together again.

Sun Jewel Rebellion

Shiki heads directly to Kurenai Kōgetsu to fulfill Valkyrie's last mission, meanwhile, the rest of the crew takes part in the rebellion on Sun Jewel.

• Status: Success
  • Homura takes Valkyrie's place as the Sword of Edens.

Operation: Space Fortress Invasion

The crew infiltrates the Belial Gore to gather information to find out why the giant space fortress is after the Edens Zero and, if necessary, remove its leader.

• Status: Fail
  • The Crew of Edens are defeated by Drakken Joe, the Element 4, and Jinn.
  • Rebecca jumps from World No. 29 to World No. 30 after awakening her Cat Leaper.

Belial Gore Rescue Mission

With the knowledge of the future, the Crew of Edens launches an all-out attack on the Belial Gore to rescue the captured B-Cuber Labilia Christy and defeat Drakken Joe.

  • The Crew of Edens defeat Drakken Joe and the Element 4.
  • Jinn and Kleene unofficially join the crew.

Clues in the Temple

The crew enters a temple, in hopes of learning more about Mother's whereabouts.

• Status: Success
  • Shiki's Aquatic Adaptation Lacrima absorbs some of Mother's Ether, which will help the crew locate her.
  • Laguna unofficially joins the crew.

Foresta Crisis

The crew arrives on the planet Foresta to discover that the planet's robots have enslaved the humans due to a virus implanted by Ziggy. The crew splits into two groups to eradicate the virus and protect the robots from being destroyed by the subordinates of the Aoi Cosmos ruler Poseidon Nero.

• Status: Success
  • Shiki, Rebeca, and Homura defeat three members of Nero’s commando team Beast, while the remaining three members were defeated by Victory of the Interstellar Union Army.
  • Weisz, Hermit, and Laguna defeat Müller in the Enormous Satellite Server, and remove the virus.
  • Sister cures Kleene’s psychological trauma, as a result, she and Jinn officially join the crew.
  • Couchpo joins the crew.

Stopping the Nero Empire

The crew form an alliance with the rebel army Oasis and engage Shura and the Oceans 6 on the planet Nero 66.

• Status: Success
  • Homura, Weisz, Jinn, and Kleene achieve their Overdrive states, while successfully defeating members of the Oceans 6.
  • Witch sacrifices herself to protect the crew and the ship.
  • Laguna officially joins the crew after the fall of the Nero Empire.

Destroying Ziggy's Robot Factory

The crew infiltrates Ziggy's Robot Factory to stop the Skeleton Army on the planet Lendard while also getting help from Elsie's Pirate Crew.

• Status: Success
  • Connor, at first, refuses to join the Eden Zero's mission to stop Ziggy's robot factory but later decides to join the crew on this mission after seeing their resolve.
  • Holy unofficially joins the crew as part of her deal.
  • Labilia Christy also unofficially joins the crew to help cure her disease
  • The Chronophage arrived and devoured Lendard and rewinded back to it's past state which also destroyed Ziggy's Robot Factory and erased off Elsie and Justice with it.

Regaining Memories and Reuniting the Crew in Universe 0

The crew traveled back in time to Universe 0. Upon arrival in Universe 0, the crew have to regain their memories from other universes.

• Status: Success
  • Shiki, Rebecca and Happy were reunited with Witch, who rejoined the crew.
  • The crew were reunited with Valkyrie, who rejoined the crew.
  • The Edens Crew have successfully regained their memories and reunited.

Stopping Joker Helix's Invasion

The crew head to the Yukino Cosmos to visit Rachel and Connor on Miltz and gather more infos about Mother. But they are soon caught into Joker Helix's Invasion

The journey is almost over as they are close to Mother. But with the Edens One stands in their way, the crew must now fight for their lives to defeat Edens One and save Mother.
