Machina Maker (マキナ・メイカー Makina Meikā) is the 11th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero.
Weisz uses his Machina Maker Ether Gear to modify the Aqua Wing, allowing them to make it past the energy field surrounding Norma. They soon find that they've returned to the present when they get a call from the original Weisz, who explains the existence of a terrible monster that devoured Norma's time. Suddenly, the gang is captured by the space pirate Elsie Crimson, who has had her eye on Shiki for some time...
Summary[]
Weisz tells the group to give him control of the Aqua Wing, saying he can help them get into space. When Rebecca points out that he will be arrested along with them, Weisz says he'll be fine; and unlike them, he has an ID. Shiki just tells Weisz he can have the ship, to Rebecca's anger, with Shiki saying they'll soon need a better ship if they want to visit Mother, to Weisz's shock.
Weisz upgrades the Aqua Wing
Weisz then shoves Rebecca aside, declaring himself the ship's captain as he reveals his Ether Gear, Machina Maker. Weisz then uses his Gear to completely remodel the Aqua Wing from the inside out, letting them leave the police behind. He even used it to give Pino back her leg. The ship then manages to clear the energy field and reach space. Just then, Rebecca's phone rings, revealing the caller to be Professor Weisz, to everyone's shock.
Professor Weisz then reveals that Norma had been given a travel and entry ban and that as long as they remain on Norma, they would remain in the past. The Professor then reveals that a monster called the Chronophage had managed to eat 50 years' worth of Norma's time. Furthermore, eating a planet's time causes the planet to be permanently stuck in the past, hence the travel and entry ban. Professor Weisz and a bunch of other residents from Norma had gotten off the planet beforehand. He also reveals that he had only done some repairs on Pino, and that she mentioned that her master was the Demon King, to Shiki's shock
Prof. Weisz reveals that he's fine
The Professor then turns his attention to the younger Weisz and confirms that he is his younger version. But due to the Chronophage's actions, an alternate, younger version of Weisz, whose time was eaten by the Chronophage, was created. Thus, the possibility of a time paradox is eliminated. As he continues what he is saying, the signal is cut off as the Aqua Wing is intercepted by the ship of Elsie Crimson, who proceeds to pull their ship in with a tractor beam while saying that she has finally found Shiki.
