World No. 29[]
Arriving at Belial Gore[]
Witch showing Homura the ship's Etherion
On the Edens Zero, Rebecca reveals to the others that she has an Ether Gear, Leaper. Weisz thinks that she's copying his Arsenal and that she's ruining his selling point, even after being told the difference by Hermit. He tells them about how superhero teams can't have two people with the same power but is dismissed by Rebecca. Shiki wants to race, which the others accept, even Pino joins. Meanwhile, Witch shows Homura the hangar, the latter asking what the Four Shining Stars do. Witch answers that they do nothing particular and that they are servants to the Demon King, obeying his absolute orders. At least in theory, really they are just good friends, and that Homura may behave as normal. She is relieved and remembers that Witch mentioned that they wouldn't be able to pass Dragonfall without all Four Shining Stars. Witch clarifies that she was speaking figuratively, but that it would be difficult without. Valkyrie was responsible for all of the ship's armaments, Witch had planned they used the ship's weapons to cut a path through Dragonfall, especially code 3173, Etherion. Witch states that unlocking Etherion is the one thing that requires all Shining Stars' authentication. Homura asks what Etherion is, which Witch tells her she must keep it a secret from Shiki or anyone else. Because of her inability to keep secrets, they decide it would be better to inform her when the time is right.
Shiki's group invading Belial Gore
In the spa, Rebecca enjoys the bath while Happy's still surprised that Pino won using her EMP. Rebecca is still excited to have her own Ether Gear and thanks the spa for it. She floats in the water, but soon finds herself and Shiki in the middle of a battlefield, where they are attacked by armed mechs. The mechs fire missiles at them, which Shiki uses his Ether Gear to redirect them and crush a couple of mechs. She wonders where they are and where Happy is but Shiki states that that is the name of her dead cat. Shocked from this, Rebecca wakes up and Sister tells her that she fainted in the bath. Rebecca wonders where Happy is and hugs him right after he answers her. She tells him that she had a bad dream, at least she thinks it was a dream, and wonders where they are. Sister answers that they're in her room that's also the infirmary. She informs her that she was out for an hour and tells her the warship that was following their decoy is back. When Shiki found out he wanted to make the first move, starting operation space fortress invasion and have already arrived at the guest dock. Hermit informs Shiki of the objective to gather information to find out why they are after their ship and depending on the reason, must eliminate the leader if they are determined to be an enemy.
Belial Gore's City
Rebecca quickly puts on her clothes, annoyed that Shiki and the others left her behind. Sister reminds her that she did pass out in the infirmary. Meanwhile, with Shiki's group, they are informed that Belial Gore used to be a sector in Guilst. They wonder what that means until they see that the ship is an entire city. Because tourists visit as well, no one will suspect them entering through the guest dock. Hermit tells to be careful as Drakken Joe is the highest authority of the ship and a big shot in the Sakura Cosmos' underworld. Witch reminds them to investigate only and that they will activate the Edens Zero's armament system. Shiki and the others then explore around Belial Gore. They find that it is a pretty normal city, albeit a bit seedy, and densely populated. Shiki has doubts about attacking the ship which Homura agrees, as there are too many civilians. Weisz reminds them that everyone there was from Guilst, a planet of criminals. Shiki counters since it's only Drakken who wants their ship and the two begin to argue further.
Maria's team invades the Edens Zero
An old man calls out and says Weisz looks familiar, revealing to be Sibir. Shiki confronts him, but the old man is confused as to who he is. Weisz explains to Sibir that Norma was eaten by a Chronophage, which took 50 years, and that he escaped the planet after. Sibir asks why Pino is terrified of him, making Shiki get angry at him for not remembering what he did to her 50 years ago. Weisz stops him, reminding him and Pino that this Sibir is different from the one they met. Sibir apologizes for his younger self, easing Pino a little. Weisz asks what he's doing here, but Sibir remembers his groceries and tells them that he works at a bar nearby, offering them to visit when they can. Weisz tells a trembling Pino that she's only seen his vicious side and that Sibir can be a nice guy, having even saved him years ago. Just as they decide to gather more intel, a ship-wide broadcast starts where Drakken says that he knows the Edens Zero crew is there. He remarks that their idea of sneaking in through the guest dock was not bad, but he tells them that they check on every ship that lands there. Suddenly the Edens Zero is attacked, cutting the connection between Hermit and Shiki's group. With this and Drakken says that he'll be taking their ship, Shiki's group tries to get back to their ship. At the same time, Maria, Diego, and Seth invade the ship, planning to kill the crew.
Witch making an Ether Shield
Witch detects the intruders and asks permission from Homura to unlock her Battle Dress, but connection is still jammed. Rebecca asks what that is, which Hermit answers is their battle outfits. Sister tells her to just use it. Meanwhile, Shiki's group finds that the dock is locked down, planning on forcing their way through. However, Drakken warns them not to, as he has taken their crew hostage.
Witch defeats the invaders
In the Edens Zero, the minimum defenses of the ship are easily taken care of by Seth, who shoots down the gun turrets, and Diego, tearing the mechanical restraints apart. They soon encounter Witch, who blocks Seth's bullets with an Ether shield. She announces that as the Shields of Edens, she will remove the intruders and requips into her Assault Witch battle dress. The intruders think that it is hilarious that she wants to fight them and Diego prepares to fire, but Witch freezes his gun solid with Ice Ether.
Drakken's announcement
Maria gets the "witch" moniker, stretches her leg to the ceiling, and asks if there's a princess onboard that continues the fantasy theme. Rebecca wonders what power Witch is using, which Hermit states that Witch manipulates Ether like Magic. She then takes a panel of the ceiling off and kicks it to Witch, but she dodges it with Air Ether. Maria is surprised that she changed her Ether's element while Witch dodges another of her kicks. Witch then touches the ground sending Lightning Ether to shock them, where they wonder how she can change her element at will. Hermit states that this is why they call her the "Steel Sorceress", as the three intruders lie in the defeat. Witch claims that the people on the ship are family to her and if anyone or anything threatens them, then she will show no mercy. Sister hurriedly stops Witch, as she wants to torture them. Hermit fixes the communication and informs Shiki's group that they took care of the enemies, making them cheer and wonder how they beat them. Hermit tries to get them to come back as staying longer could make things worse. However, Shiki decides that he'll handle it as they attacked his home. Meanwhile, Drakken is impressed and prepares to unleash the Element 4.
The Element 4[]
Shiki turning into water
Hermit informs Shiki's group that the two androids self-destructed and are holding the third in custody, where Sister will question her. Meanwhile, Rebecca and the others inspect the damage. Finding that the hull made of Guarnanium was turned into paper. Connor reveals that the beam cannon mounted on their ship was the cause, noting that it has Ether Gear capabilities. Witch notes that it also broke through the Edens Zero Hermit guesses that it's Drakken Joe's power. Shiki's group prepares to take down Drakken, but a broadcast starts. Drakken reveals the faces of the intruders and offers the citizens to be free of their debt if they catch them. Not long after, everyone chases after them. Meanwhile, Drakken's assistant asks if it's necessary to use the citizens if the Element 4 are already mobilizing, to which Drakken wants to have some fun and offer the citizens something. He goes on to say that all matter is formed with the four elements and that is the foundation and truth of Alchemy, with all four being a part of him.
Weisz turning into water
Shiki's group manages to get away from the crowd, but note that everyone will recognize them. Weisz decides to show his disguise app he developed using the Dress Factory's tech and changes his appearance to his Digitalis avatar. He then turns Shiki into a greaser and Pino into a human. Homura is annoyed by her scantily clad dancer outfit and decides to choose her own disguise, a noblewoman. They plan to head to Drakken, pretending that they would need money. Pino is happy to be human, even if in appearance only and Shiki cries for her. Suddenly, a voice comes from the water and a man rises, saying that tears are weakness. He says that those who cry in front of him will never stand back up. Shiki then turns into water, surprising the others. The man introduces himself as Laguna from Drakken's special forces, the Element 4, and promises that he will make them cry.
Homura fights against Laguna
Pino worries over Shiki being turned into water. Weisz and Homura try to stop her from crying but fail and she is turned into water. Homura wonders how Laguna is able to turn them into water, speculating it to be his Ether Gear and thinks if they defeat him then they can turn their friends back to normal. However, Laguna reminds them that he's one of the Element 4, the pillars of the Dark Alchemist's powers. Weisz taunts him that not all people cry easily and plans to beat him with his Arsenal Suit. Though, Laguna stabs his foot with his stiletto, making him cry and turning him into water. Laguna points out that Homura is the only one left, but she tells him that she shed several years' worth of tears recently.
Weisz vs. Laguna
She summons her sword, which Laguna thinks making the last one cry out of pain would be nice, and makes a sword out of water. They clash swords with each other, which Homura remarks that Laguna is quite the swordsman. He then gives a sad story of a promise with his friend, but Homura sees through this. He attempts to elicit tears from her with several different methods, including yawning, but she avoids crying. He then pulls out his last trick, an Oedo Onion. He crushes it, releasing allyl sulfides that force her to cry. He turns her into water and bottles them to bring them back alive. However, Laguna notices that he's missing one, and Weisz reveals himself. Laguna is baffled, as he saw him turn into water, but Weisz corrects him that he saw him cry. He used his disguise app to change his facial expression to shed fake tears. Then he modified the app in real-time to pretend he turned into water. He claims that this is his power, Machina Maker, and dons his Arsenal Suit.
Weisz shot from behind
Laguna what Weisz is wearing, which he answers is Arsenal Mark I and punches him. He then reconfigures a gun on his left arm and fires bullets, but Laguna blocks them with his water. He tells Weisz to not underestimate water, as it can even cut through metal, and demonstrates by cutting his suit. Weisz tries to fire bullets again, but they are blocked once more. He then uses Drum Buster, creating a dark explosion, but his enemy avoids it as well. Laguna tells him to not make speeches as he loads his weapon, but Weisz calls himself a hero and uses Atlas Flame. Laguna mocks him for using fire against water but realizes that he's surrounding themselves in a ring of fire. Weisz reconfigures his right arm into a giant hand and prepares to attack but Laguna catches it with his Water Hand and throws a barrage of Water Shot at him, damaging his suit further.
Shiki blocks Fie's shot
To finish him off he shoots a Water Laser, but Weisz blocks it with his giant hand. His suit warns that his remaining Ether is at 10% and shutdown is imminent. Weisz wonders what to do, when Hermit tells him to activate the suit's cooling system at maximum output. He then realigns the pipeline to the arms and freezes the beam of water. Laguna is shocked by this and gets punched in the face, knocking him to the ground. Just as Weisz tries to get him to turn his friends back to normal, he is shot from behind through his abdomen and falls to the ground. Shiki and the others are returned to normal, unaware of what happened. They find Weisz with a bullet wound and wonder where the shooter is. From afar, the sniper calls Laguna pathetic and prepares to kill them. Claiming that he, the flame sniper Fie, never misses his mark.
Shiki and the others try to tend to Weisz. Fie remembers that his orders were to bring them alive, but he's too excited and plans to kill them already. Pino scans the area, finding the bullet in the ground and calculates its trajectory. She deduces that the bullet came from approximately 7km away. Fie realizes the little bit has figured him out, but he prepares to fire a flame bullet. Pino tells them to hide behind the tree, but Shiki decides to try to catch it. Fie fires the bullet, which Shiki catches with his Ether Gear and sends it back. It misses Fie and he prepares to target once more, but finds a smokescreen. Shiki's group wonder where the smoke came from and Sibir shows himself, telling them to take Weisz to his bar.
Rebecca preparing to deliver the medicine
After bringing Weisz to Sibir's bar, they inform the others in the Edens Zero. Since the dock is closed and that everyone knows what they look like, they aren't able to leave. Because of this Hermit decides they should send Sister through another entrance. Sister hears the plan, but is busy with the interrogation and tells them to send medicine instead. She scares Maria a little, before telling her that she knows what she really is and to stop pretending that she's human. Rebecca brings the medicine made from Sister's Ether, Sister Energy, to the launch catapult and gets into a Taurus FT-003. She exits the Edens Zero and sees the Belial Gore, but notices something coming towards her from the space fortress. A bird-themed starfighter that has wind surrounding it. In the starfighter, Sylph the Element of Wind reports for duty.
Rebecca facing Sylph's starfighter
Rebecca faces the enemy starfighter and finds a swarm of drones coming from above her. Sylph activates them and they start shooting at Rebecca, who dodges the attacks. Witch and Hermit inform her that the Taurus's firepower should be enough to get past the drones. Rebecca manages to shoot down a couple, but there are still too many. She then locks on to all of them and sends homing missiles, destroying them all. However, the starfighter is still there as she thought she had one missile locked onto it. Looking closer she sees that it's circling the starfighter. Sylph uses her Ether Gear and sends it back to her. Rebecca unconsciously activates Leaper, making her starfighter quickly dodge the missile. Everyone is amazed at how fast the Taurus moved, which Hermit and Witch note that she has the makings of an Etherion master. Because bringing the medicine to Weisz is urgent, Rebecca and Happy decide to escape.
Sylph trapping Rebecca and Happy in her Wind Cage
Hermit tells them to sneak through the unused material loading gate that she'll hack into to open. Sylph remarks how fast Rebecca is, thinking that she has a wind blowing for her, and is determined to stop it. Meanwhile, Sister Ivry interrogates Maria, saying that her best option is to tell everything that she knows and go hide on a far-off planet. Maria accepts reveals her true form, a Space Slime, warning Sister that no one has defied Drakken and lived. With Shiki's group, Sibir apologizes that he can only give first aid. He adds that they have a hospital, but with everyone looking for them they can't go. Shiki asks why he helped them, but Sibir clarifies that he helped Weisz as they were friends. Rebecca and Happy manage to sneak into the material loading gate, but find wind and suspect the bird pilot to be there. Immediately, they are sucked into a ball of wind, dropping the case of medicine, and Sylph declares that their wind has stopped.
Rebecca's Secrets Revealed[]
Rebecca and Happy trapped inside the Wind Cage
Rebecca and Happy are trapped in the ball of wind, they to shoot their way out, but the bullets ricochet off the walls. Rebecca tries to use Leaper to kick their way out but fails. Sylph tells them that it's pointless, as her Wind Cage can't be broken from the inside. Rebecca and Happy try to call Hermit but their signal is jammed, Shiki's group manages to pick up parts of the message before the connection cuts. Hermit contacts them, explaining that something happened to Rebecca, and sends the coordinates to Pino, which is also where the medicine is. Meanwhile, Sister asks Maria why Drakken wants the Edens Zero, having done research on him. Maria doesn't know why but notes that it went from a curiosity to a goal after he talked to Noah.
Drakken greeting Rebecca in his bathtub
At the material loading gate, Shiki and the others find the medicine but no sign of Rebecca. Shiki decides he'll look around more while Homura brings the medicine to Weisz. However, wind starts blowing and as Homura tries to escape, Sylph stops her. Shiki uses Gravity Field to let Homura escape while he stays to fight. Sylph dodges his attack and remarks that he is just as her brother described. From the wind, Jinn appears who tells Kleene to let him fight, which Sylph reminds her brother of her codename. Elsewhere, Rebecca wakes up in a fancy bedroom and wonders if she was captured. Drakken in his bathtub sees that she's woken up and offers to chat.
Rebecca and Drakken having a talk
Drakken gets out of the bath, dries, and puts on a bathrobe. He offers Rebecca a drink, telling her that she's in his room. Rebecca slowly reaches for Happy, but Drakken tells her not to as he just wants to talk. He notes that things started out on the wrong foot between them and makes one thing clear, that he's not interested in killing her or her crew, nor making them suffer, having heard of her from Noah. Rebecca is shocked that he sold her out, which Drakken tells her not to trust people like him. Rebecca asks why he's after the Edens Zero, to which he answers that there is something very precious there. He tells her to come with him and that he got her new clothes, waiting outside until she's ready. Rebecca wonders to a sleeping Happy on what to do and hopes that the medicine got to Weisz.
Labilia being tortured
Meanwhile, Sylph reminds her brother to use her codename, but Jinn still calls her Kleene and tells her to go after Homura. Shiki tries to stop her, but Jinn kicks him down, saying that he has to face him. Pino asks if he's part of the Element 4, but he states that he's merely a mercenary, explaining about the Element 4 and that his current job is to act as Kleene's assistant. Shiki asks if the two are family, but Jinn attacks, telling him that it's none of his business. Shiki demands to know where Rebecca is, but he misses his punch. Jinn notes how his Ether has barely changed and quickly attacks him. He then shows Shiki the true power of an Ether Gear and goes into Overdrive. Rebecca follows Drakken, who remarks that she brought her guns, but she corrects him that she's carrying her friend Happy. He then shows her a bloody and beaten Labilia, chained in a cell. Rebecca asks what happened to her, which Drakken answers that he punished her a little for putting her through so much pain. He tells her to think of it as a gift, as she will be joining his group. She wonders what he means, which he reminds her that he was looking for something precious in the Edens Zero, herself, and calls her No. 29.
Daichi appears before Rebecca
Rebecca asks what he means by No. 29, but she is pushed into the cell through glass-turned-water. Drakken quickly changes it back into glass, explaining that his Ether Gear, Alchemist, is able to convert matter. He leaves her there as he has work, saying that she can do anything but kill her. After he leaves, Rebecca tries to remove the chains from Labilia, but someone tells her to stop. She sees a face from the ground, he rises and introduces himself as Daichi, one of the Element 4 and offers Rebecca chocolate.
Rebecca being restrained to the wall by Daichi
However, Rebecca refuses Daichi's offer of chocolate and asks what No. 29 means. Daichi doesn't know and shows her his 60 day torture free commemorative coin that he got from his group therapy. Rebecca asks about what he did to Labilia, but Daichi claims that he just roughed her up a little, which everyone at the group therapy agreed wasn't torture. Daichi contemplates to himself, wanting to torture Labilia as he held out for so long. Rebecca activates Happy, but Daichi uses his Ether Gear to make her grow branches out of her wrists which restrain her to the wall. He recalls that he was ordered not to hurt Rebecca, but says that he can't hold his urge anymore.
Jinn using Windstorm Palm Strike
Meanwhile, Jinn's winds grow stronger, as Pino compares it to a typhoon. Shiki tells her to hold onto something as he makes a large chunk of debris fall around Jinn, making him fly up. Shiki tries to punch him, but Jinn performs Windstorm Palm Strike, sending him through several pillars. Jinn states that his wind obstructs all. Elsewhere, Homura runs through an alleyway when Sylph finds her up to her. Homura summons her sword and tries to cut Sylph down, but the wind steals it. Sylph sends the sword back, which Homura dodges but is caught in the wind. It snatches all her clothing except her underwear and boots, which Sylph remarks that she will steal her entire body next.
Sylph trapping everone inside her wind cage
Unable to fight properly, Homura cuts through a pipe to make a smokescreen. Sylph blows away the smoke, finding her target gone, but still feels her Ether and tracks her down. Homura goes into the first building she sees and finds a dressing room filled with swimwear apparel. She wears some, as well as a mask, when the manager confuses her as one her employed and sends her out to dance. Homura recognizes the place as the club venue they investigated earlier and tries to leave. However, a wind starts blowing and everyone is caught in it as Sylph arrives. Homura tells to stop, not wanting the civilians pulled into their fight, which Sylph pulls everyone but them into her Wind Cage. Homura asks if this is how she kidnapped Rebecca, which she confirms as it was her orders. Elsewhere, Shiki continues his fight with Jinn, remarking how tough his opponent is. Meanwhile at the Shooting Starlight, Noah notes that everything has gone as he has calculated so far, and wonders what will be Rebecca's next move.
Rebecca suffering the effect of Pain's Tree
Daichi breaks his commemorative coin and lifts his torture ban. He uses his Pain's Tree Ether Gear to make the branches dig deeper into Rebecca, adding pain wherever they go. She screams in agony, which Daichi complements and asks for more. However, Rebecca is turned into water, Laguna reveals himself and reminds Daichi that he shouldn't hurt her. Daichi complains that he was ruining his fun, but is reminded that she belongs to Drakken. Knowing how scary he can be, Daichi asks to keep it between the two of them. At Spica, Homura dodges Sylph's attacks and sends a barrage of Ether swords. Sylph catches them and remarks that Homura has many weak points, stealing the case she left and soon catches Homura in her Wind Cage.
At Sibir's bar, he reminisces his youth while taking care of Weisz. Suddenly, Fie enters and reminds Sibir what happens when harboring fugitives, declaring that he's going to bring Weisz with him. Sibir begs him not to kill Weisz, which Fie says that he won't kill anyone, except for traitors and shoots his gun. Jinn recalls that his orders were to take Shiki in, but thinks that leaving him alive won't be good. Shiki stands and activates his own Overdrive. The two charge towards each other and attacks, only for Drakken to stop the two of them. He reminds Jinn of his orders and tells them that what they were doing wasn't real Overdrive. He explains that it happens when they push their Ether past their critical point, causing a change in the Ether marks that make up their body and demonstrates. Shiki demands to know where Rebecca is, but Drakken tells him that he doesn't need to know and that she belongs to him.
Drakken Joe shows Shiki and Jinn his True Overdrive
After demonstrating real Overdrive, Drakken returns to normal and asks Shiki if he knows how much Rebecca is worth. After hearing him call her a friend, Drakken says that friends are the most worthless thing in the cosmos. Shiki tries to punch him, but Drakken catches his fist, surprising the young man. Drakken explains that he converted his hand into Dramour Ore and that he did research on him, how he inherited Ziggy's Ether Gear, Satan Gravity. He adds that Noah mentioned that Shiki is the key to unlocking the "cat's" power and turns him into stone. Pino tries to get closer to use her EMP, but is blown away by Jinn.
The Fall of Edens Zero[]
Drakken captures Shiki's group
Xiaomei narrates about despair, terror, and hopeless circumstances and how people would react to experiencing pain greater than they have ever felt before and solomnly wonders what Shiki will do. At Drakken's residence, Shiki and the others wakeup in a dark place, when Drakken tells them not to move. The group tries to move, but Drakken has his men point guns to their heads.
Drakken Joe laughs at Rebecca
He apologizes to Rebecca that he has to treat her like this. She tries to get him to let Weisz get his medicine, but he just crushes the can and laughs. Shiki is angered, but gets shot in his left leg, making him cry out in pain. Drakken warns him about moving, as if he does the next bullet will be for someone else. Rebecca asks where Happy and Pino are, which Drakken informs that he sold them to a junk dealer. Homura asks what he plans to accomplish, which Drakken lists a couple. The first being that he punish rule breakers, such as them for boarding on his ship. He states that they have to pay, but that he won't kill them and that they can make him money. He makes Homura an example, remarking how better looking she is than her mother at her age and bets that she can earn even more. Rebecca begs him to stop if she joins, but Drakken says she still isn't one of them and that those are the rules. He then breaks Weisz's handcuffs and orders Fie to cut his arm off. The flame sniper taking pleasure in chopping his arm off.
Maria mocking Sister
Weisz cries out in agony, before passing out shortly after. The others are left scared and crying afterward. Jinn, not having fond memories of mutilation, decides to leave followed by Sylph. Drakken is glad that they are scared and orders his men to take Weisz to the sick bay. Drakken notes that things are bad for them now, as he has news that will makes things worse. On the Edens Zero, Maria mocks Sister as she and the other androids have shut down. Elsewhere, Diego holds Connor at gunpoint, saying how lucky he is that Drakken ordered not to kill any humans. Connor says that he thought he self-destructed. Diego explains that only Seth did and that he used his stealth mode to make them think they both self-destructed, he also adds that Seth didn't die. Diego explains that Seth's body was a carrying case and that the real Seth is a computer program.
Drakken kills Shiki
Seth remarks how complex the ship's system is, but that he managed to takeover almost all of it. With this Drakken gloats that the Edens Zero crew is finished. Drakken puts his foot on Shiki's head and asks if they have learned their lessons, which the girls cry as they confirm they did. Drakken asks once more to Shiki, but finds him crying, calling him pathetic. Shiki goes on to say things were not supposed to be like this, that he would have gone on adventures and made lots of friends. He kneels and proclaims that he is not giving up, that some day he will beat Drakken and be "his" friend as he does not have any. However, Drakken states that there is no such thing as "some day" for Shiki, claiming his adventure has come to a sad ending and shoots him through his head. Drakken notes that he does not kill people as a rule, but can make exceptions, not hesitating to take out anyone who refuses to bow down to his authority. Rebecca and Homura cry as they see Shiki's body lying lifelessly beside them. Xiaomei narrates that Shiki has lost his life, but the story continues, where morning breaks on the seventh day in a world without Shiki Granbell.
A World Without Shiki[]
Rebecca in her cell
A week after Shiki's death, the news of the Belial Gore cover Sibir's death, discovering that it was for treason against Drakken Joe. In a junk pile, Pino and Happy lie deactivated. Rebecca is given a room and is told that her other friends are safe, but has been locked up for the duration of her stay. She is grief-stricken from Shiki's death and cannot stop thinking about it. She hears footsteps approaching, where the door opens, revealing it to be Laguna. He finds Rebecca cowering in fear, telling her to relax as it is just him. Rebecca thinks to herself, how she lacks all emotions now, except for fear so great that it overshadowed any hatred she had. Laguna tries to get her to eat and that sitting in stupor will not change anything. He tells her that they were told to treat her like one of them and that she should forget the past. He tries to get her to understand from Drakken's view, as moneylenders cannot do business if people think they are soft and that what happened was awful but is just how it is. He fails to get any response, but tells her to at least take a shower and that they do not have surveillance cameras in the bathroom. She gets into the shower, thinking how Laguna seems to be the most decent guy in Drakken's team.
Rebecca's Cat Leaper awakens
She recalls how Drakken wants her power. Drakken reveals to her that they have a device that can extract an Ether Gear's power, having done so with his for Illega's Petrification Ray. Rebecca wonders why he needs her super speed, but he clarifies that he is after her Cat Leaper, the power to change the laws of the cosmos. He does not let her know what it does as he does not want her to use it against him. Rebecca wonders why he does not just extract it yet, which Drakken states is because she has not awakened it yet. This is why he is monitoring her to extract her power when Cat Leaper awakens and says that he is the one who deserves this forbidden power. Rebecca wonders to herself what No. 29 means and has to process all this information. She starts missing her friends and wants to see Shiki again. Suddenly, her Ether lines starts glowing and awakens her Cat Leaper. She does not understand what is happening and feels that she is being pulled, falling into a space where she gains cat ears and a tail. She awakens in Sister's infirmary, finding Sister and Happy perfectly fine and nearly identical to when she woke up after passing out in the bath.
World No. 30[]
The New Strategy and Invading Belial Gore[]
Rebecca hugs Sister and Happy
Rebecca sees Sister Ivry and Happy perfectly fine and asks where she is. Sister tells her that she is in her room, that's also the infirmary. Rebecca bawls and hugs the two, telling them she had an awful dream and asks if Shiki and the others are okay. She then asks about how long she was asleep, but when she realizes that Sister's explanation is identical to her supposed dream. Rebecca asks where Shiki is, which Sister says is still by the launch deck, she then has Happy call Pino. At the launch deck, Shiki and the others get a transmission from Rebecca, who is glad that they are okay and tells them not to go and that they need to talk. In the meeting room, Rebecca informs everyone of her dream and how real it felt, where they lost to Drakken and that Shiki was killed. She hopes that it was just a dream, but stopped them anyway. Hermit speculates that Rebecca may have gone back in time, hypothesizing the feeling she felt when she first used her Ether Gear indicated the true nature of it. With this Rebecca did the same now and made a time leap.
Shiki proclaiming their future
Witch mentions that they did detect a change of Ether while Rebecca was asleep and presumes her future consciousness overwrote her current self in this time. Hermit notes that this is different from a Chronophage and that Rebecca has likely retained her memories, remarking that it is only a possibility as only she can observe her time leap. Happy wonders if there was something she saw that they can check now, which Rebecca remembers that they captured Labilia. They go to her channel and finds that she has not uploaded in a week, as Rebecca notes she posts a new video everyday. She then calls Couchpo to ask if she has seen Labilia, but she has not. Rebecca checks Labilia's social media and believes they really did get her, meaning that what she thought was a dream might happen. She wonders what to do as they cannot fight Drakken, but she cannot abandon Labilia as they used to be friends. Shiki decides they should rescue her, as a friend of Rebecca is a friend of his. Now having information from the future, the crew decides to fight Drakken. Just as they prepare their strategy meeting, the Edens Zero gets hit. Rebecca realizes that it is the three who used Drakken's powers to board their ship and thought they came because the crew invaded their ship, but now assumes that they were going to break in either way. Shiki notes how everything is following the future she saw and proclaims that from then on it is going to be their future now.
Rebecca explains about Maria's Scheme
Witch easily dispatches of the invaders, where Rebecca informs the others how Maria is a Space Slime, Diego was going into stealth mode to hide, and that Seth was going to take over the ship's computer systems, which Hermit remedies by enhancing the security. In the meeting room, Rebecca informs the crew about how Drakken's power can change one substance into another and he has a device that can take an Ether Gear's power, wanting Rebecca's power. She suspects Noah had told Drakken about her power and informs the crew of the Element 4 along with Jinn. Sister Ivry asks Mosco if he knows anything about Jinn, which he remembers that he was working for the Psuedo-Sister because he wanted to heal someone. Because of this, Sister plans to get Jinn to switch sides by offering to help him. Rebecca still cannot see a way for them to win, but Shiki has a plan.
Edens Zero crashes into the Belial Gore
In the Belial Gore, Drakken suspects something is off as Seth should have called by now. His assistant informs him that the Edens Zero has changed course and is now sailing towards them at a tremendous speed. Shiki notes how last time they got in trouble for rushing in without thinking, stating this time will be different as they are going on all-out attack. Rebecca promises to save Labilia. The citizens witness the Edens Zero crashing through the ship, including Sibir. Rebecca tells the others that the citizens are likely debtors and does not want to harm them. However Weisz reminds them that they made a hole in the ship, but the hole quickly seals up, which Witch assumes is their ship's automatic repair mechanism. They head to Drakken's residence, where the man himself notes how they are making him look soft and plans to make them pay in full, ordering his men to kill all of them except No. 30.
The Element 4 awaits the Eden Zero's arrival
Rebecca wants to save Labilia so the crew and plans to land the ship in an open space. Homura wonders if it is really wise to storm in, which Rebecca is sure of it as she has information from last time and might be able to strike a deal with Drakken if he found out her powers have awakened. When they land however, they find the Element 4 standing in front of the building. The Demon King's Four Shining Stars go off to face them, allowing Shiki's group to fly past them in the Aqua Wing. Fie tries to shoot them down, but Hermit breaks it down. Daichi's excited to fight her, but Sister punches his face, saying that she will be fighting hhim.
Noah appears before the Eden Zero
Laguna instructs Sylph to go after the ship, but Homura attacks her. Witch faces Laguna and the androids equip their Battle Dresses, while Homura uses Weisz's disguise app to change her clothes. They announce to the Element 4 that they will be their opponents. As the Aqua Wing flies up, the building releases it's turrets and fires at the ship. Rebecca steers the ship, avoiding many of the gunfire but still gets hit by quite a few. Shiki exits the ship, climbing to the top and makes an anti-gravity bubble around them, deflecting all the gunfire. Rebecca uses this and flies straight to the roof and lands there. Shiki spots someone there and Rebecca, in shock, asks what he is doing there. Revealing the person to be Master Noah, who says that he has been expecting her.
The Fall of Element 4[]
Eye of God
Shiki jumps to punch Noah, but goes through him instead. Noah explains that what they are seeing is a hologram and that his physical body is on Blue Garden. He informs them that he can observe people's location with his Ether Gear Eye of God. At first he thought it was useless with the advancements in gps and nanotechnology, but he discovered that his powers extend outside of time. In other words, he can view Rebecca's location and movement in time. He confirms to Rebecca that he knows about her power to time travel and that he had first noticed it around 10 years ago. He saw that she was supposed to pass away in a car accident but she changed her location in time, albeit subconsciously and did not remember it. Even after this event, Rebecca has subconsciously used it whenever her life was threatened or at the moment she died. Noah calls the current world World No. 30, confirming Rebecca that when Drakken called her No. 29 he was referring to the previous world. He notes that somehow she has retained her memories from the previous world and that with this is the only world where Drakken can be defeated. He warns that this world is more perilous than the last, now that Rebecca has awakened her power, if Drakken defeats them then her power will be forfeited and Drakken's World No. 2 will begin. He remarks that he has done inexcusable things to them, but he states that he did it all to defeat Drakken Joe.
Witch vs. Laguna
Meanwhile, the Four Shining Stars fight against the Element 4. Witch counter Laguna's water blade with her Shield Ether. He expresses his dislike of fighting against androids as they cannot shed tears. Witch then attacks with Lightning Ether and counters that androids do shed tears as they have hearts. Hermit hacks into a drone and makes it shoot after Fie. Daichi is excited to fight against Sister bending his commemorative coin and lifts his torture ban, only to be kicked in his crotch. Sister remarks how cute his 60 days are, showing him her 10 year coin, before she bends it and throws it at his behind. Homura faces Sylph noting that she had lost to her twice in the previous world and proclaims that as her first fight as Valkyrie she will not bring shame to her mentor. Kleene circles wind around her, but Homura assumes Crane Form, cleaving the wind like an elegant crane. She counters her opponent that she will be the one whose wind will be stopped. Back at the roof, Shiki asks that Noah wants to defeat Drakken, calling him out for putting Rebecca in all that danger. Noah asks if there is a problem, getting a glare from Shiki. He notes that Shiki has yet to learn how truly terrifying Drakken can be.
Noah notes his last chance to defeat Drakken
Noah informs Shiki's group about Drakken, how he earned his name as the "Dark Alchemist" from his Ether Gear and his underworld connections. He adds that he also has another nickname, "Undead Joe", and tries to explain but his signal is deteriorating. He manages to tell them how he believes that they must have found his weakness in World No. 29 before his signal is cut off, leaving the crew confused. At the Shooting Starlight Guild, Noah notes how this is his last chance and that if Drakken isn't beaten then he and Blue Garden will die. Rebecca tries to remember what weakness Noah was referring to, but has no idea what it could be. Shiki then reminds that they are going now to rescue Labilia.
Hermit defeats Fie
Meanwhile, Hermit battles against Fie, who remarks that she is ready to turn into a pile of ash if she wants to fight. He sets himself on fire and remarks how bots are weak to fire and gloats how his flames will burn her out of existence. He shoots his flames at her, destroying her camouflage device and her link to the drone. He then burns his way into the drone and makes it fire a barrage of bullets at her. He asks her to tell him of it hurts and throws the drone at her. Fie escapes into the duct and goes into the nearby building containing his weapon stash. He aims his sniper rifle at Hermit and fires. However, Hermit jumps out of the way and runs Prison Matrix around the building, hacking into the weapons that are connected to the network. Fie is shocked, wondering how she found him, which Hermit explains that he emits a higher body temperature than other humans. Creating a hologram in his armory, she then remarks that he has no hopes of making it as a sniper and makes the guns fire at him. Hermit adds that bullets had Ether coating as she does know pain and states how that is the way of her heart.
Shiki defeats the Belial Gore's men
Shiki and the others searches through Drakken's base to find Labilia. They are soon found by some of Drakken's goons, forcing them to fight. Shiki runs up tithe ceiling and takes out a number of them with a Gravity Windmill Kick. The remaining goons are shocked by this and are soon knocked out by Rebecca and Weisz. Pino tries analyzes the building to find any jail cells, but Rebecca stops her as asking one of the goons would be easier. Meanwhile, Sister whips Daichi, who finds the experience not so bad having been the torturer before. However, he cannot hold on anymore and asks if machines feel pain. He activates his Ether Gear, Pain's Tree, making a tree grows around and entangles Sister. He is delighted to see that she does feel pain and asks how she would like to be tied up, doing various poses. Sister remarks that she is going to pulverize him. Daichi yells at her to try, noting that she would rusty after not torturing anyone in 10 years, and plans on making her feel real pain.
Sister defeats Daichi
Sister screams in pain but states that she will kill him, annoyed Daichi wants her to say "kill me" instead. Sister compliments his how oppressive he is and soon dispels the tree. Daichi is perplexed as she should not be able to use Ether Gear while trapped, which she explains that the Four Shining Stars uses is more of the optimization of Ether. She states that she thought of trying to be on the receiving end, but prefers being the dominant one. She over heals Daichi, making him explode, she states that she will not kill him and begins torturing him once more. Elsewhere, Laguna is struggling against Witch, who ponders on his reasoning for fighting for Drakken, as he had been an actor before retiring. Being told that it is none of her business, Witch agrees but state her reason for fighting, to protect her family and will eliminate any enemies. Back to Shiki's group, they find that Labilia in her cell, perfectly fine. They wonder for a bit about this inconsistency from Rebecca's recall, when they are found by Sibir.
Sylph barraging Homura
Homura faces against Sylph in an alleyway. Sylph uses her wind to gather the nearby objects and throws them at Homura, who dodges them. She eventually lands in a nearby building, making her wonder where she is. Sylph reveals herself on the stage, answering Homura that this is a dance club, and that there are no guests or dancers because of her and her friends' arrival. Back at Drakken's building, Sibir has Shiki's group hideout in a storage room, saying that there are no security cameras since he helped build the place. Sibir asks Weisz about his hairstyle change, but Wiesz asks why he is doing here. Sibir answers he saw them on the news and just could not sit and watch an old friend in trouble. Shiki gets angry, but Weisz reminds him that this Sibir has a different history. This makes Sibir asks what time did Weisz comes from. After being informed, he realizes that is was around the time they fought. Sibir calls it a trivial spout, since he and Weisz had made up, albeit with Weisz paying a high price.
Drakken as the DJ Zombie
Sibir tells Weisz that the case he stole had their group's war funds in his time, rather than Pino. The money did not belong to Sibir, but DJ Zombie. The group wonders who the man is, which Weisz answers that his group were the man's grunts and that everyone in his generation feared him. Sibir continues that Weisz had his arm cut off, saying that is was how they punished thievery back then. Afterward, Weisz had gone to school, where people started calling him a professor, and made amends with Sibir, who was unable to quit the shady business and ended up in the Belial Gore. As for DJ Zombie, he thrived well as a loanshark on Guilst, turning the tourist spot into a planet of criminals. The group realizes who he is talking about, and Sibir confirms that DJ Zombie was Drakken Joe 50 years ago. Rebecca is confused, as he does not look any older, which Sibir adds that he has had that appearance since and this was so unsettling that he was given another moniker, Undead Joe, which Sibir has heard that the man is older than 200. Rebecca hypothesizes that if Drakken wants her powers so that he can return to his younger self, explaining that she keeps her memories when goes back, then he would be rejuvinating himself. She adds that he is preserving his body now and thinks that he is reaching his limit. Meanwhile at the dance club, Homura and Sylph continue their battle, where the Element 4 member manages to steal the Shining Star's sword. In turn Homura creates another pair of swords, joining the two, and starts spinning them, creating wind to defend against wind. Sylph is surprised by this, stating that there cannot be wind other than hers and her brother's, and fears that Drakken will absorb her if her wind stops.
Homura defeats Sylph
Sylph is afraid of Drakken absorbing her, but her hair clips suppress her emotions, returning her to normal. She sends her wind to Homura, who in turn sends her own. The resulting clash blows both of them away. Homura jumps onto the tables flying, but Sylph traps her in a Wind Cage. The swordswoman decides to make her own wind inside, and manages to escape and attack back.
Element 4 defeated
Sylph cannot comprehend how she escaped, which Homura explains that she is the Sword of Edens and one of the Four Shining Stars, Valkyrie Homura. She then finishes her off with Dragon Flash. At the same time, Witch finishes of Laguna with Edens Glitter. Now that the Element 4 are defeated, Witch proclaims that the Four Shining Stars dance to protect their family.
Drakken's Secrets[]
Drakken realizes that the Cat Leaper has awakened
Somewhere in Drakken's Place, Drakken is rejuvenated in a tube filled with liquid, but realizes the Element 4 have been taken down. He expresses that he does not have time and needs to get the cat's power. Drakken realizes something is wrong and suspects that Cat Leaper has been awakened. Meanwhile in the storage room, Rebecca thinks that if Drakken's life is reaching its limits, then he must have a life support system somewhere. They plan to destroy it and defeat Drakken. Sibir knows where the life support could be, but tries to persuade them not to fight Drakken. However, "Labilia" thinks that beating Drakken would be interesting and decides to lend them a hand, revealing who she really is.
Homura finds Labilia
The group is surprised by what's happening as "Labilia" reveals herself to actually be Amira, though no one recognizes her. She forgets that only Homura knows her and changes into the prince disguise from Digitalis. They remember and questions why she is here and where the real Labilia is. Amira tells them to calm down, she showed them her real face since she trusts them and wants them to trust her. She explains that she is on a mission and what happened on Digitalis was a part of that. Rebecca asks again, which Amira answers that Labilia is safe in the club where she worked undercover, which at that moment Homura finds Labilia as she tries to find something else to wear. Amira continues that she then took Labilia's place in the cell. Weisz remarks that is a huge risk, which Amira notes that it was probably her best shot at getting near Drakken. She explains that if she got near him then she could get his memories and know his weakness. She adds that she could report back now, but since they want to beat Drakken, she wondered if she could join them. Shiki declines but decides to let her after she asks to be friends. Amira asks for the directions to the life support device.
Shiki making the tar fall
Suddenly the floor turns into Glia Tar and Drakken reveals himself. Sibir questions how he found them, which Drakken mocks that they thought that he would not notice their Ether gathering here. Rebecca is terrified at seeing him again, where Drakken decides to take her now, not wanting to take of all of them now. However, Shiki makes the floor fall, sending everyone down, and decides to take Drakken on. He tells Rebecca to not be afraid, since her friends are here. Shiki, not wanting him to get any closer to Rebecca, then takes Drakken down further, into a spacious area. He wonders where they are, which Drakken answers that this is the execution site. Drakken makes an assumption that he killed Shiki in the last world. Shiki then proclaims that him in this world will make sure that Rebecca will not cry.
Shiki battling Drakken
After landing on the next floor, Rebecca wants to go back Shiki, but Amira instead suggests that they let him keep Drakken busy while they go to the life support device. Meanwhile, Shiki and Drakken fight in the execution site. Drakken changes his arms into iron but Shiki runs up the walls and sends debris hurling at the man before performing Gravity Comet. However, Drakken blocks it and explains that his Ether Gear can change the properties of matter, turning the rubble from before into explosives. He then converts the floor into explosives as well, but Shiki falls to the ceiling. Drakken then converts the walls into electricity, saying that Shiki will fall to hell.
The Life Support Device
At Spica, Homura uses the app on her phone to change clothes, while Labilia asks how long she has to wait here. Homura answers that she does not know, but has called her friends on the ship to shelter her. Homura then heads off to meet with Rebecca and the others. On the stage, Sylph cries about getting absorbed by Drakken, asking her brother for help. Elsewhere, Rebecca's group has found the life support device. Suddenly a powerful blows in, revealing Jinn who was tasked to guard the place. Mosco happily greets him, saying they do not have to fight, but is attacked. Jinn states that friends of Sister's impostor disgusts him. Weisz tells him to forget about Mosco for now and tries to negotiate.
Jinn confronts Rebecca's group
Jinn does not care for what they say, making Weisz and Rebecca ready to fight. Amira stops them, calling Jinn by his real name, Kris Rutherford. Jinn wonders where she got this information, which she explains that investigating everything about Drakken's Organization is her job. She then gets to her point, she asks where the life support device get the energy to keep Drakken young, making everyone wonder. She then answers that it absorbs the life force of the people living around it, shocking everyone. She goes on and states that the Element 4 are no exception, including Kleene. Weisz asks what happens if their life force was drained over a long period, which Amira answers a shorter life span and has heard that the unlucky ones die. Weisz is furious and goes off without a word. Rebecca and Happy goes after him.
Drakken Joe's Overdrive
Pino wonders why they can not just stop the device, which Amira answers that they have to put it in reverse to give everyone their life force back. Hermit calls through Pino, having overheard everything, and states that she could change the device from the ship, but that she needs them to do destroy the security device. Sister Ivry joins in the call and asks Jinn to help them, where in return she will heal Kleene. Jinn ultimately decides to help them, having sworn to protect his sister, and Hermit proceeds to hack into the device. Meanwhile in the execution site, Shiki and Drakken continue their battle. Drakken compliments him for still standing, which Shiki proclaims that he will beat him to protect his friends. Shiki gains Ether lines, and tries to punch Drakken, who stops it. Shiki tries another punch but Drakken stops it once more, who tells him to take a good look as his Ether Gear reaches its critical point. He transforms and call this Overdrive. Drakken starts turning Shiki to stone, but is kicked in the head from above by Weisz in his Arsenal Suit. Weisz exclaims that he is the one who killed the person most important to him.
Shiki and Weisz battling Drakken
At the Execution Site, Weisz fires bullets at Drakken who brushes them off, making him change weapons. A flashback occurs from 60 years ago on Norma, a young Weisz is with his bedridden mother in the hospital. Weisz over hears the conversation from a pair of doctors, about how they cannot find what is causing the patient to get weaker, as if her life was being drained, one notes of doing research of four past cases and states that all of them died. Weisz's mother calls him, telling to stay strong since she worries that he is not good at making friends, Weisz cries begging his mother to not die. His mother tells him that he will not be alone as he has another mother, she is a mother to all in the cosmos, as her flatline beeps. In the present, Weisz yells that he killed her, but Drakken does not know who he is talking about and denies killing people. Weisz states that he only does so he could feed off them and how dozens of people died on Norma from an unknown cause like his mother, because their life force was drained. Weisz reconfigures his suit's right arm, making it bigger to punch Drakken, who catches it and converts his suit into an explosion. Drakken states that he always background checks his enemies and that Weisz's reminded him that he cut of his arm years ago when he stole his money. Drakken converts his arm into a blade and prepares to chop off Weisz arm.
Drakken's mutation
Another flashback occurs, where Weisz and Sibir are sitting together in a construction site, where Weisz tells him that he got his pendant from his mother and that after she died he bought a robot who taught him his Ether Gear. He adds that he was not very good at first, having unfortunately destroyed his teacher in the process. Sometime later, Weisz yells at Sibir, accusing him for stealing his pendant, but he defends himself and tells the blond to stop accusing his group without proof. Weisz exclaims they are not his crew, angered at this, Sibir orders the others to get him out. He mutters that he thought they were friends, which Weisz claims that he does not have any friends and promises to steal something that he cares about. In the present, Shiki saves Weisz, telling him to calm down. Weisz says that he did not ask for help, but Shiki replies that a friend gives it anyway. Knowing that they cannot beat Drakken on their own, they ready themselves to fight him together. Suddenly Drakken falls to his knees, as Hermit finishes her hacking and reverses Drakken's energy flow. A blackout occurs in the Belial Gore, where the Life Support Device starts rumbling. On the Edens Zero, Witch and Sister congratulates Hermit, but the Mind of Edens worries that, while Drakken is getting weaker, something does not seem right. Back to Shiki and Weisz, they witness the Dark Alchemist mutating into a monster.
Drakken Joe Mutated Overdrive
Weisz 442 and Shiki are wondering what Drakken turned into and what happened to him, before he moves his new limbs through the Belial Gore to attack people. From the Edens Zero, Sister Ivry notices that Drakken's Ether is out of control, and tells Hermit that she though he was supposed to get weaker, only for the latter to confirm this thought. Hermit explains that Drakken's Ether has begun to fuse with the life force he stole from others. The two are quickly interrupted by Witch, who makes an emergency takeoff. As Sister accuses Witch of leaving Shiki and the others behind, she explains that they have another problem, the Satellite Blaze is ready to fire at Blue Garden and destroy it. Drakken appears on a screen and wants the Satellite Blaze to kill Noah, before killing his subordinates. As the Edens Zero rushes towards the Satellite Blaze, Witch tells the others to have faith in the power of the Great Demon King.
Shiki awakens his true Overdrive
At the Life Support Device, everything is crumbling apart. When a chunk of debris is about to hit Pino, Sibir pushes her out of the way, which scares Pino, due to her past experience with his counterpart. Pino then suddently remembers something Weisz told her in World No. 29 and gets very confused, since that memory does not match her current ones. Elsewhere on the Belial Gore, Rebecca and Happy encounters a part of Drakken's mutated body, which grabs them and talks about how much he wants Rebecca's powers. Homura arrives and saves them from Drakken's grip. Back at the Execution Site, Drakken blasts both Weisz and Shiki and zaps them, before knocking them both to the ground. He then explains how killing Shiki is the key to awakening "the cat" and forms a gun which points at the young man. This cause Shiki to recall his promise to Drakken in World No. 29, which awakens his true Overdrive and he promises to never make his friends cry again.
Shiki blocks Drakken's punch
Shiki in his true Overdrive faces the mutated Drakken who prepares to attack him. Shiki holds back the punch and uses his power, pulling the ceiling and the floor toward him. Weisz (X442) remarks that this power is akin to a black hole. Meanwhile, the Shining Stars detect the high density Ether reading and assume that Shiki has achieved Overdrive. They then focus on the Satellite Blaze, but are shocked that it has a Protection Matrix. Witch suggests they use the main cannon, but Hermit points out they do not have even half the energy needed. Witch states that they will use their Ether to make up the different. Elswhere, Rebecca and Homura are still trapped in the tentacles. Rebecca calls for Happy, who assumes his Happy Blasters form, allowing Rebecca to free herself and Homura, continuing to destroy the tentacles. Rebecca notices the face calling for her to give her power, remarking how gross he is.
Shiki's Meteor Breaker
While Shiki manages to make Drakken's arm explode, the Shining Stars uses the Edens Zero's Star Bringer to blast the satellite apart. A flashback occurs, where a young Drakken is confused as to why the people of his planet only live until they are 15, much to the other children's annoyance. He runs off, knowing that people on other planets live for decades. He reads about Alchemy, wondering if he could change other people's life to his, wishing to not only live longer but also to make friends. Shiki responds to the young Drakken, telling him that he will be his friend. Drakken is shocked that the boy made his memories fall to him and concludes that his gravity pulled the memories of the others into this world. Shiki states that Drakken has lived long enough and that it is time for him to go to sleep. He attacks Drakken with Meteor Breaker, turning him back to normal.
The End of Drakken[]
Drakken begins to rapidly aged
Shiki returns to his normal self, while Drakken lies in defeat and rapidly ages to an old man. Weisz X442 grabs his gun and aims it at the old Drakken. Weisz states that he is the one who killed his mother and many others, Shiki tries to stop him, noting that Drakken cannot move. Weisz asks Shiki if he could be friends with someone who took the life of someone he loves, Shiki answers that he would probably not right away, saying it might take time. He adds that if someone reaches out, then he thinks it is possible to be friends with anyone. Just then, Drakken reaches his hand out, surprising Weisz, but the old mad demands him to give his life to him. Exasperated, Weisz fires his gun, but misses. He throws his gun, wondering why he cannot kill him, which Sibir arrives and answers that he knows how precious life is. The others arrive shortly after, which Amira notes how big of a deal taking down Drakken is. Rebecca's group arrives, where she is glad everone is okay. Shiki agrees and begins crying, promising to never make his friends cry again ever. With Drakken defeated, Rebecca states that they won.
Rebecca is shocked that no one else remembers Connor.
In the Edens Zero, Hermit asks what happened to Drakken, Pino replies that the Interstellar Union Army took him into custody. Mosco wonders what will happen to the Belial Gore, which Witch assumes that an investigation will be conducted, but that the resident's lifestyles will be preserved now that the ship is a sort of space colony. In Weisz's room, he thinks about his conversation with Sibir, who gives him his pendant. Weisz assumes he did stole it, but Sibir explains he gave it to him. He states that after Drakken cut his arm off, he found the guy who stole it. He went to give it back, but Weisz refused, saying it is a reminder of when he did not trust his friend. Wanting Sibir to keep it until he can forgive himself, Sibir recalls how he distanced himself from the gang and found something that meant more than his mother's keepsake. Sibir remarks how lonely it was without him, but states that he was jealous of his new life and proud that he could call him his friend. He gives the pendant, telling Weisz that he has been blessed with good friends. Meanwhile, Labilia explores the ship with Homura, opening a door to find Jinn, who glares at her, along with his sleeping sister. At the ship's park, Shiki's group talks about how they won with teamwork, which Rebecca notes that Connor did not do anything, surprised that he did not show up during this ordeal.
