The Arsenal Suit (アーセナルスーツ, Āsenaru Sūtsu^?) is a type of weapon created and utilized by the Crew of Edens' Weisz Steiner under the alias of "Arsenal."

Description

The Arsenal Suit is a special type of full-body armored battle suit powered by Ether that fully enhances the power of the wearer's Ether Gear. The initial model, Mark I (壱式, Ichi Shiki^?), can only sustain power for very short periods of time.

Abilities

Mark I

• Enhanced Strength: While in the armor, Weisz gains a tremendous amount of physical strength and power. His punches are so strong that a few hits are capable of pushing the Zaiten Three's Baku back with a strong enough force.

• Enhanced Speed: By using his Machina Maker to form jet boosters on his boots, Weisz can move at great speed, even being able to outpace Baku during their fight.

• Enhanced Durability: The armor's Ether coating grants Weisz a high amount of durability, enabling him to take damage from heavy-hitting attacks such as Baku's axe swings.

• Enhanced Machina Maker: When using the armor, Weisz's Ether Gear abilities are increased to the point where he can transmute parts of the armor into various weaponry in battle.
  • Weiss Cannon (バイスキャノン Baisu Kyanon): While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz produces a machine gun from his forearm plating that fires rounds of physical ammunition.
  • Drum Buster (ドラムバスター Doramu Basutā): While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz reconfigures the forearm of his suit into a cannon that fires an explosive blast.
  • Metallica Explosion (メタリカエクスプロージョン Metarika Ekusupurōjon): While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz greatly increases the size of his forearm and punches with a high level of heat energy, creating a massive explosion on impact.
  • Atlas Flame (アトレスフレイム Atoresu Fureimu): While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz produces a flamethrower that shoots a large stream of flames.
  • Grandy-Ray: While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz produces a laser from his forearm plating that fires a ray beam at his target.
  • Grandee Wing (グランディウィング Gurandi Wingu): While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz creates a wing-like blade from his forearm playing that is strong enough to slash an O-Tech in half.

• Cooling System: The Arsenal Suit is equipped with a cooling system that ordinarily regulates the heat of the armor, but when Weisz uses the overheat protocol and reassembles the pipeline to his arms, he can use the cooling system to rapidly freeze water around him.

Mark II

• Enhanced Machina Maker: When using the armor, Weisz's Ether Gear abilities are increased to the point where he can transmute parts of the armor into various weaponry in battle.
  • Mortal Crash (モータルクラッシュ Mōtaru Kurasshu): While wearing his Arsenal Suit, Weisz touches an object while using his Ether Gear, engulfing them with Ether markings, and detonates them with a fiery explosion, destroying them in the process.

• Hiro Mashima's early concept for Arsenal focused on the use of Thunder Ether, and underwent a multitude of different names, including:
  • Vortex (ボルテックス, Borutekkusu^?)
  • Raijin (ライジン, Raijin^?)
  • Blitzman (ブリッツマン, Burittsuman^?)
  • Thunderman (サンダーマン, Sandāman^?)
  • Lightman (ライトマン, Raitoman^?)

• The Arsenal suit could be inspired by the suits of the Kamen Rider series, while the HUD was probably inspired by the Iron Man suits.
